this video has a ton of replay value cause you miss so much the first time around. But this is exactly whats wrong with the whole "buy the fucking itunes copy bro". Sure you spend 9$ once to watch it and u can replay it on ur comp for years, whereas if they had it posted on their website, thats like hundreds of site visits. Real would be getting so much more advertising and exposure if it hosted the videos on individual clips for viewing on its website than it does from the 9$ from itunes. It would probably benefit them more. Could do web copy and sell a dvd on the side with extra features like the little photo albums and shit or for people who like dvds, like what nike did with debacle. its fucking 2011 bros
[close]

good input i think.. hosting the download through the website and offering access to the bonus dvd stuff online would be immensely beneficial. I personally am not a big itunes fan and i already knew i was going to buy the dvd, for my own reasons if not just to get the book. but i am on dlxsf.com everyday - would be sick if the next vid was able to be downloaded in whatever format straight from the site - maybe for open donations to both real and the charity. i for one know i was stoked to be able to help the johnny kicks cancer foundation at the premier
[close]

i completely disagree. i live outside of the US and so buying the DVD is not an option and all downloads or hostings from direct sites get fucked up but iTunes releases are a no brainer for me because they always download with no problems.

I just downloaded a .flv version that looked like shit and didn't had busenitz part complete
I fucking don't have credit card to buy through itunes
and I live on the other side of the world so I wouldn't be able to get the dvd in liek a year...
but I'm a truly believer that videos should still be released on dvd and not through internet parts.... once you saw a part online, you forget about it in a week or two, no matter what

Hope the music isn't as bad as everyone claims. Music can pretty much make or break a video for me. I have watched Dyrdek's part in Mindfield so many times just to hear that song.

Sadly it is as bad as everyones claims. That is way I only asked for the Chima track which is sick...J.T. Aultz song has allready been used in a 411VM which is huge bummer to me.

the rip i have is bad so its hard for me to even watch it. im gonna have to get the video to form a real opinion of it but cotg is kinda right about them all doing the same tricks, i think the video blends too well, I couldn't tell you where one part starts and the other ends if it weren't for their names being shown.

Huf,Chima and Dennis had the best music I think.

Its kinda funny that Hardy skates to Molly Hatchet, but I cant really stand "southern rock".

Donnelys music seemed to not fit his skating on first viewing, but grew on me.

I would really have liked Ramondettas part with a different song. That Exodus track was too distracting for me.

All this bitching about the music got me thinking how cool it would be if skate videos had an option where you could turn off the music but still have sound effects. Kinda like a video game.

Everyone's parts were good.  The music wasn't as bad as people purported it to be.  Ramondettas song was the worst but it wasn't even enough to make me not want to watch it.  I just didn't like the vocalist.  The riffs were good.  The video was DEFINITELY not a let down.

Busenitz is just so hood.... the women want to be with him and the men want to be him.  Special thanks for Gary BGP's in the credits!  Gary is living the life man.... all the dog food he wants and free adidas to chew on.  And his master knocks up his other master on the regs.

Review over at Carbonite's in Jim Thiebaud's poetry style - I couldn't tell if it's a mock or a homage -.
Pretty good read by the way:

They sell redbull where you're from? Usually those bitches show up to video premieres and just give that shit away. What did you guys do to them that caused them to charge?

in europe, redbull already is known by everyone. they dont need to give out free drinks, people will pay for it too.

that cocacola-redbull thingy called "burn" is mostly free here though, in austria they have put fridges in skateshops and deliver free "burn". not gonna buy one or the other though.

i live in a place where absolutley nothing is free, and even if it is theres still some kinda tax involved.

still no-one really even noticed they had drinks up for grabs, the booty shorts stole the show

the whole 'I live on the other side of the world so I would've had to wait another year' argument is not valid anymore.
we made sure everyone had their videos around the same time.
As a matter of fact, overseas distros got their copies before anyone else.

I've thought about the life of that dog. It must be amazing. Every lab I've ever met really just wants to run around as much as possible as fast as possible. Just by going out with Dennis when he skates Gary is living the dream.
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”

Editing and music were absolutely horrible and I generally don't give a shit about that stuff. It was that bad.
