not skating much at the moment but pulled this out a couple weeks ago before I rolled my ankle.
Only been doing kickflips for about a year, learnt heels the first go around years back. Quite happy with these.

ha thanks, I seem to have definately developed my own style with kickflips. I do them with quite open shoulders which I know is a bit of a no-no, but they work well enough for me.
I fell down a proper rabbit hole over summer last year with them, would end up doing 50 odd in a session just trying to perfect them. Finally got kickflips where i wanted them, was landing like 8 out of 10 every time, then rolled my ankle over the nose on one, and after a couple other injuries they tend to come and go a bit now... but on a good day I can get that nice dip on the go and catch a few nice ones in a row.
When I recover from this latest ankle roll I want to keep working them a bit more to get consistency back (lucky if I land 4 in 10 this year), but try and stop short of each session becoming an obsessive kickflip marathon.
