Just upgraded to full frame with a Canon 5D Mark III. I'm in love so far. Here's a few I've taken this weekend.

Hey The Bullet, you may have already answered this before, but what are you shooting with? Your shots always look so crisp and solid. I love it.

Here's a little stream that I found while hiking at Tumalo in Oregon.

Still a nice shot though.

took my yashica electro out on a walk today and shot two rolls. not really stoked how these turned out, but i shot on some shitty cheap film so i guess i cant be too bummed. the parallax error on that camera is crazy too. some of the closer shots i took were like a foot lower than what i framed. its a really fun camera to shoot with, but im yet to get a photo that i really like from it. gotta keep practicing.

Thanks man!  I'm shooting with a 5d Mark III and usually process my clips in Lightroom, and always crank my clarity and sharpness levels which is why they always look so sharp.  I think some people don't like the look it creates, but I can't get enough of it :)

for photo's like these I usually just shoot wide open at 1.8 and around 8-10 second shutterspeed so the stars don't trail. Then I just use the lowest iso i can get away with, these were all at iso 1600-2000.

sick shots! looks like a really fun session.

edit: to resize type [img width=(number of pixels)] into the first box. and you just need to type the number, so width=600 not width=600px for example

you can choose any number you want, but 600 is usually pretty good.

I walked through Bay 2 Breakers for like an hour and didn't see nothing at the DMV at about 11am. When did it all start? I need to go just to take some photos. Lighting looked pretty tough from your photos. Wish there was more sun. Good shots though.

Really nice photos.  That one reminds of the Blabac photo of SJ doing a back smith in the out of focus background with a parking meter in focus in the foreground.  That explanation blew but hopefully you get it.

Thanks, man! They had two of those bad boys in a minivan and I knew I had to take at least one good photo showing their size.

I was all excited to take some pics during the 'magic hour' as they say.  Went to the spot I wanted to go to and it started to rain so hard, but it was still sunny out.  Anyways, plans were ruined but I managed to snap one decent pic of my wife before the rain started to come down real hard

my yashica decided that it didnt want to work mid roll yesterday, so i wasted a bunch of good time walking back to the car to grab my digital. i fucked around with it after i was done shooting and it works now, but that camera and i dont seem to get along very well. heres a few i got at a construction site. the rest of the shit i shot yesterday is going to be double exposed.

and heres an old shot i took a few years ago in the upper peninsula.

Anyone use KickStarter or any other crowd funding sites for their photo projects? I was thinking of trying that for something I'm working on - I am looking to crowd fund the money to cover printing and framing and will in return give people prints as incentive. Seems reasonable. Plus my printing shop is connected to a gallery so it will be free to have a month long gallery show with them, so the money raised is specifically for printing and framing. I really want to make this happen. Thoughts?
