He loses sponsorships, but he brings in ratings (even during a ratings slump his cult members always tune in) so we haven't heard the last of his insane theories or revisionist history... the less ignorance he's able to inflict on the gullible the better, but his operation has always been apart from Fox (his studio is separate, web presence is relatively independent from News Corp, and his radio presence goes back for ages).
It would be great if he'd board himself up in his little crazy fortress and fear the world around him in silence, but I'm thinking this is going to free him up to do more rather than keep him out of the media.
