The city built a sick miniramp really close to me, so I took a quick hour on my lunch break today to sneak a session in (perks of working from home) - not the smartest move on the hottest day of the summer, that was tough. At 43 I can really feel my age at days like these

The soreness yeah.. Lately it have felt kinda good. Been skating a lot so it helps. But there is no second warm ups for sure. Once the stiffness sets in I’m done

Thank you. I wish I could still do all of that. watching Mike Mo's recent stop and chat really made me realize im kind of in the same mindset as him. but I havent skated since this part so maybe itll change once i actually skate again.

Yeah he may like it, i watch skate videos with him here and there and he is stoked when anyone does a trick. But idk, the longer it takes to get back on a board, the harder itll be to be stoked on it. Kind of like Mike Mo's Stop and Chat where he says he use to switch flip smith a ledge...and now his best would be to noseslide it and he has no interest in that because he could do so much better before. Im a competitive person and only want to out-do myself. But maybe if he gets on board, itll help me change that perspective.
