Very happy that we'll be playing the Wild and not the Avs.

it's all good, it was a good series, and winning a game 7 away at MSG isn't the easiest thing to do. Also, Mason had a concussion towards the end of the regular season and was still feeling symptoms until apparently game 4, I don't know if that makes up for anything but oh well.
I wouldn't be surprised to hear that Giroux also had some kind of injury through the playoffs, he definitely looked off his game, especially tonight.

good for the kings they're killing it and LA/Anaheim will be a tight series but the sharks should still be ashamed.
the minnesota wild just wont quit but the hawks will take em down.
fuck the rangers and pittsburgh but the penguins take that series.
anyway boston takes game 1 tonight at home. hope it gets nasty.

Halak just keeps getting thrown around. It's too bad, he deserves a solid number 1 spot.

The Islanders are going to give him a boatload of money and he's also interested signing there long-term so good for him.

Hopefully that's just a very vocal minority lashing out at Subban.
I'm all for talking shit, but come on, that's taking it overboard.

Kind of ironic considering they drafted his brother... but they did the same shit when Joel Ward scored on Thomas and eliminated them a couple years back.

the boston bruins are the kings of missing the open net these playoffs.
I don't like PK subban either but those people are nuts but I also agree he's got a tight slap shot.
but penguins take game 1 in OT.
blackhawks win big at home.

How Suter didn't win the Norris in 12-13 and wasn't even nominated this year when he's carried the blueline on his back since he's been in Minnesota is nuts.

Karlsson is fucking awful defensively, and I was talking about the 12-13 season. Karlsson played 17 games that season.

Raask has gone 0-9 against Montreal at home.

Amazing stat.

Happy with the win over Wild. Should wrap up this series within 5 games.

woo good for the bruins with 3 goals in 5 minutes. I hope this series heats up.
LA takes game 1 on the road somehow.

Avs-hawks would have been a much more exciting round 2. Chicago is going to steamroll over Minnesota

I think they would have man handled Colorado too....

Which ever California team pulls through should be a good opponent.....

Colorado would have been iffy.  I'm actually more confident about the Blackhawks versus the Cali teams.  The Kings were a hiccup last year and even though they pulled it out against the Sharks this year, the Hawks seem to get under Quick easily.  Anaheim I'm not sure about but I think they could do fine.

I just think no way Colorado could out gun Chicago and they would have been spent....

The Cali teams have a chance to choke things up and keep the game close...

People can get bummed on Chicago and Boston being really good again, but anything remotely close to a dynasty is amazing......pretty early to even bring that up but....

Fairly early to make a call like that, but it has merit. I think we'll be there about's for the next few years.

Scary to think Towes, Kane, Leddy, Kruger, Shaw & Saad are all 26 & under.

penguins take game 3 at msg.
anaheim bounces back and wins game 2 at home.
chicago will lose one game to minnesota but that's all.
