Too bad he didn’t call it Freedome 14/88 so we could have a 50 page thread about it.

Edit: I’m not saying that’s necessarily a bad thing.

Was this graphic done by the dude that animated those Vans rider stories leading up to Propeller?

Wishing him as much success as Ronnie Creager had with his board company HighSchool Dropout skateboards...This immediately gave me the same feeling when I seen how hard these guys worked to come up with such innovative names.. awesome...

Left it way too late, should have made a move as soon as departing flip. Either that or just get on toy machine, it really would be the perfect fit.

Weird that he didn't go with the original name/logo that he came up with.

Pretty astounded this got overlooked because the graphic and name were so bad. Then again I’m biased.

Name is terrible.
Graphic is good.
Silk screened? Very nice.
14” Wheelbase? You fucking lost me.

Why would you do 3 boards the exact same dimension?

I can't find it anymore, but there used to be a hilarious video of some kid asking Geoff Rowley at some demo what was his favorite McDonalds meal and Rowley tells the kid to fuck off and walks away.

Agree, there needs to be a dumping ground board company that takes in all the old washed up and retired pros. That or old pros need some sort of retired veterans pay from the goverment of skateboarding to put some stop from them starting bad new board companys

I find it funny that people make a big deal of the screen printing of boards vs heat transfer or whatever when it makes absolutely no difference to the actual functioning of the item. I guess the same goes for graphics in general tho.

If brands get their wood from the same or common suppliers basically they are just marketing departments which is pretty wierd if you step back and think about it.

i think screen printed boards last longer and dont chip or flake the way heat transfer do over time. that would only really matter to a collector though

I couldn’t tell a heat transfer from a screen print if my life depended on it.

We are seeing a whole generation of pro's who don't look on the internet. All these dudes must be thinking they're about to get booted but they're leaving their sponsors to start their own BS. MJ is going to be so mad when he hears he didn't attend Cairo's new board graphic party.

MJ thinks he actually did go to Cairo’s party?   No one tell him the truth!

who woulda thougt

Well, fuck Rowley. I knew he was into hunting, which is lame, but anyone who poses with a dead animal, smiling, is a piece of shit. I don't care if you're contributing to 'conservation' or whatever. God damn social media - another legend ruined.
