-Resident Evil Revelations PS3.
Picked this up for ?8 and is well worth it so far (3 chapters in). Love the setting and the atmosphere. Haven't been scared by a video game in a long time. It's not the jump scares etc , the game is just well made. It feels like what Resident Evil 6 should of been (although I enjoyed that game too).
-Dead Island PS3
It's exactly what I expected and it's OKAY. Played it for about an hour and a half and will probably not play It consistently, just dip in and out of it. Shit was ?3, so it's pretty much a bargain.
-Splinter Cell HD PS3.
Think I've played through 4 or 5 missions so far after getting the trilogy from PSN. After playing this when it was first out I worried I was just super nostalgic for the game I have to say; this one holds up well very well against time and fond memory's tendency to embellish greatness.
Playing through it on hard for trophies and am getting my spandex ass handed to me in the FBI headquarters mission. Anyone else play the remaster lately?
-Tomb Raider 2 PS Vita.
Because why not. And I have the 2013 TR in the post as a result of rekindling my tomb raider love. My biggest takeaway from playing this 20 year old game again: The ambient music / noise in every level is stellar. I recognised the majority of them but didn't realise just how embedded in my memory this aspect of the sound design was.
-Hotline Miami PS Vita.
Still enjoying it, still frustrated by it. Put it down for months now I'm stuck on level 14. This game is still one of my favourites of the last few years.
-Freedom Wars Ps Vita.
Only really starting this one but I like it. I'm not sure how much I like it so far but I know I'll continue playing after the handful of hours I've put into it. It seems nearly perfect for handheld gaming (short missions etc) which is really helped by the Vita's excellent suspend/ very low power mode.
