Thanks for this. Really looking forward to the 440v2 as the original 440 is one of my favorite shoes ever. How would you compare boardfeel between v1 and v2? Or is there a difference at all? I love the original's feel.
Well I never actually skated the v1, only tried them on. So i can't help you there. I've tried on the V1 and these do feel a very small amount of more padding.

It has straps for a board and fits in the standard TSA carryon dimensions. I always put my trucks in my bag and just strap the deck. I’ve never had an issue, but I always travel with an old deck so that I don’t care if I have to leave it behind
Second Nixon backpack. I've carried on with full board with trucks and wheels on many times and no issues. They just check the bag size and the skateboard is attached. Obviously you can't hit people with it, etc.
