Wow, this sucks. Too many being meeting a tragic end.
I don’t care what anyone says, a tit mouse’s tibia is a thing of beauty.

So awful. This post initially confused me because he posted it back in March, which means from then until now he had tried seeking help. To me that almost makes it cut deeper.

I don't know him, but it sounds terrible.

Unfortunately, even though people are talking about the subject more and posting on Instagram "get help if you need it" it doesn't really solve the issue.
If you're in that state of mind, it's very hard to reach out to anybody since not having anybody to talk to in the first place is what likely got them to that state.
I've been caught in some very dark times and when I did reach out or make an effort to tell people, they often said 'oh it will get better" or was told to deal with it like everybody else does. Most people don't understand the "dark" unless they have also been there.
Professional help (other than the doctors just offering drugs) is often expensive even with insurance, so that option is also pretty off putting. I don't know what a solution could be, but I hope more people can find the strength and change some things up in their life before getting to that point.

Stay up everybody.

Horrible news, mental health is a fragile thing, if you ever feel like hurting yourself or worse please talk to somebody. It helps. RIP

I had actually skated with Ryan numerous times in the past couple of years. I would never have guessed things were so bad for him. He came across as a happy go lucky kind of bloke.

The small town I live in actually subsidizes the residents' access to professional help. All bills are based on someone's income. My buddy went from paying a private practitioner $120 per session to paying $20 per session to a therapist that is employed by the city (or works with the city). Dude makes minimum wage, so paying $20 has kept him going and out of an insane amount of debt.

Same goes for a variety of medical services. Right after I finished school I didn't have medical insurance, but I wanted to be safe and get the standard STD testing done. I went to a city run medical facility and it only cost me $30. Planned Parenthood wanted something like $60 and a regular doctor wanted over $100 for the full set of tests.

I suggest anyone who is worried about the cost, start looking into what resources your city can offer. Maybe there is something out there. I know the resources can be hard to find, but the people who work in professions want to be found (and want to help).

I love when people bring up world hunger. It makes everything meaningless.
"That guy is double parked."
"Who cares? There are people starving to death! Besides, how does that affect you? Does it lessen the joy of parking?

RIP......

If anyone needs someone to rant to or just bitch to, I am willing to listen, I have been there too many times myself before.
