Crosspost with the big boy thread,
Second covid setup

Baker 9" Kader Popsicle, stated as 9x33 WB: 15 but my measurements gave me 8.75x33.125 WB: 15
Local brand griptape called Jigsaw, pretty decent and the graphic doesn't bother me at all.
Venture 6.1 Kader ones.
Bones STF 99 V4 54mm with big balls.
Sir, I'm going to politely, but firmly, ask you and your common sense to leave this establishment.

Christmas complete that I setup mid February 21, been skating it as much as I can. I have an Ishod deck gripped and ready to setup soonish. Love this deck though.

REAL Mason Silva SOTY deck 8.06
Indy standard 139 wobbly loose
Spitfire F4 101 classics
Cortina bearings I think? Bronson G3's as backups
Shorty's hardware
Mob grip, all black

Last year when we first went into full lockdown in NZ, i had a bunch of new parts i was saving for when other parts were done, but just went fuck it we all might die anyway and set the shit up. Quasi 8.5 below, can't remember the name of the graphic. Independent titanium forged 159s, 53mm 99a f4 classics, bones swiss. Was basically my dream setup.
I have a sheet of clear mob grip that i use to customise the top on each deck so i know which end is which at a quick glance, used this sticker which I've had in my collection for 17 years.

There's a bunch of great mellow ledges and curbs, a steep driveway bank, a three stair, all within 100metres of my house. Skated it for two weeks then left it resting by my front door for 15min after a shopping trip, realised my mistake and it was gone. Still check the grip job on every skateboard I see or hear roll past, just in case I find the bastard
If you see offensive comments, just let it go into one eye and let it out of the other eye, no tears and not sadness or anger.

Since Covid... no skateparks and I don't feel like driving so I've been enjoying random cruises on this:

I pushed  over 12 miles the other day, including hitting some rough banks and ledge spots along the way. Hit a DIY Jersey barrier on it yesterday and snagged a quick slasher.

I am now thinking of setting up a flat ground set up to get me through this bullshit. I have a Chocolate Tershy/ Couch deck on ice with a sub 14" wheelbase. I am going to set it up with Thunder 151s and some 54mm tablets in the next few weeks to try to relearn some flip trickery in the smooth car park a block from my house.

Woah, back when I used my last names... That board is long gone... Thanks for the reminder! Now I want another. That Jersey barrier is also now a homeless camp.

Too right. About 3 years ago, I left a newish set up and a cruiser in my car overnight. Somebody came along and picked the lock on my door and stole them. Hadn't even skated the cruiser yet. I did a black/clear between the bolts grip job because I liked the top graphic (long ass Dave Carnie poem) and to this day I check everybody's set up I pass on Venice Blvd looking for that weird grip job or somebody skating a Zig Zagger with black G Slides.
