I haven't skated on Xmas day in years but today I did a tour of a couple of parking garages that would normally be a bust. I hit the underground parking garage at Portland's Lloyd Center (Iconic mall that is rapidly turning into a Dystopic wonderland) where some skaters had set up some cool parking block combos, and a few ramps/ rails. Then I went downtown and bombed a multi-story garage which was a shit tonne of fun. Screeching around corners down seven stories and sprinting back up the stairs again. Can't wait for NY day to do this again.

It’s been a rainy couple of weeks in LA. Today was no different. I have a perfect view of the Lake St skatepark from my apartment. Noticed it was relatively dry compared to the rest of the neighborhood. Skated there for a bit with a bunch of teenagers showing off their Christmas presents. Hit the Costco curbs with a buddy. They were really wet but we made do until it started raining again. We wrapped it up at an ikea until we got kicked out. I don’t go back to work until January 10th. The plan is to skate as much until then. I’m a single dude that lives alone and doesn’t have family within 2500 miles. Christmas is just another day for me

My knee is still fucked, but I went to my favorite weekend curb and did some slappies early this morning, then went to the park to try ollieing into some shit (remains a bad idea) before chilling with my kids for most of the day.  Honestly, apart from the slappies and time with my kids this has been the worst Christmas of my life.

I was in the same boat but I cruised around today looking for dry places to skate. Asked on here and found a place but ended up going around the east bay finding cool parking garages to fuck around in.

I ate a lot of good food, drank beer, and did not skate because I’m too busy thinking about buying mineral oil for my new wooden cutting boards I got for Christmas.

It was a beautiful fucking day in Western NC. Started at a lot down the street from my house and skated some flat. Bombed a hill into town and skated some slappy blocks. Then went to an old bank that has some glassy low ledges and then down the street to an old diy ledge I built a few years ago. Great Xmas skate

Sick, I moved to Tucson fairly recently and have been looking to find some local spots.  My Christmas kind of sucked because I found out I had Covid and I've been in quarantine. It's gnarly but it could be worse I suppose.  Can't wait to get better so I can skate again.  I would love to check out that ditch DIY when I can get back out there, but I have no idea where it is!  Maybe I'll see you out there @graypubes
