Tyshawn's kickflip over the subway rail is one of the worst filmed tricks, ever.

I think filmers need to bear in mind that it's about the skateboarder, not them. They are documenting history that gets looked back on by the future skate community, just like we look back now. If the trick is poorly documented due to some pursuit of artistic flair or otherwise, then in my opinion, it undermines it, and future generations might not be able to appreciate the gravity of what was acheived by the skater being documented.

Really annoys me when you say some aspect of skate gear isn’t conducive to skating (like longer boards make tres harder) and somebody goes “oh this pro skates a setup like that and he rips!” yeah big surprise a guy in the top 0.00001% of skateboarding ability manages to rip on something us lowly mortals would struggle on, wow whoopty fucking do develop some critical thinking skills nimrod

Tom Penny's bs nollie in Chickens pool in Really Sorry is the best I've ever see done on transition to this day. Most people who do backside nollies on transition either bonk the front wheels off the coping or pop it off the transition and rotate 180 degrees on the spot. Penny's is unique that he pops off the transition properly, but he drifts the rotation. Never seen anyone else do that. 

Edit: No one seems to cite this trick either. Maybe overlooked in its subtlety, but fuck it would be hard to do one like that. Particularly in a pool.
