Where did this whole Ryan Lay on Zero thing come from?? Didn't Rasa Libre add some am and say they'll be on the am team along with Lay?
You guys think Tancowny will put out another full part? If so then he is redankulous
[close]
the deal with cold war is that everybody who didn't have a part in SW will have one.
so its not likely to happen

doesnt that kid have a torn acl?

never said zero sucks. i just dont want to watch fs flips and blunstslide transfers and kick flip nosegrinds as bangers...then see the last guy do the same tricks as filler in between his bangers. i find it hard to believe that people cant see that cole is on a totally different level than anyone else on zero. it was like paul on city stars.

and john motta ollied to wall bash at the berrics...he's so hott AND an AWESOME skater. ::)

just watched motta @ the berrics. i have to admit he's boss on those wallrides.  that dues shit sucks...and just like zero they have ONE guy who gets coverage and reminds you that the company still fucking exists. the rest are just filler.

john motta is filler.

everyone on zero except chris cole is filler.

i mean what the fuck have these guys you support so vehemently done to advance skateboarding?

going bigger doesnt really impress me.

if it did i'd be a sheckler fan.

What are you talking about? Back then there were plenty of amazing ams with a ton of promise on city stars. Mikey Taylor, Devine Calloway, Justin Case, those dudes all were amazing and showed that they were the next generation of amazing skaters. Paul may be better, but its not like people watched that video and thought everybody sucked but Paul. From what I remember, everybody was talking about how sick the ams were, and claiming the old men like Pupecki and Lee Smith with their 5 year old shitty footage could save it.
Basically, you are a dumbass.

Also, Chris Cole would be far more talented from a technical perspective than anybody on any team. Should he just skate on a one man team?
Stop being so dumb!
Are you a kook? If you would say this, the answer is “YES”

zero is all about one guy.

they got that one skater who is better than everyone else on the team now.

makes it hard for me to support cause everyone will try to go big just to keep up with the one guy who keeps them on the radar....and the berrics.

they dont suck...but it's like shane and the rest of skate mental. ( i know matt beach can skate when /if he chooses....some of you slap pals are so quick to blow a tampon)

i'll wait to see that one guys part on youtube.

i know his footy will blow minds.

dude youre regular, so many sick people on zero.
[close]
Now I see why you claim Marc Johnson is boring. We have different tastes. Mine is good, yours sucks
[close]
haha damn dude youre still on that shit...whatever man, to each his own i guess. thats just what i like to see. just cant get into a whole part of ledge dancing. i mean i skate gaps and shit so that gets me psyched to skate, and good music not fucking "goodbye horses" and all that crap. while you probably skate, well i dont know ive never seen you skate. but i am assuming ledges.
[close]
I skate pretty much everything. Lately its been a lot of ledges since I moved to LA. But I'm down for rails and gaps too. I was pretty much the generic SF dude for a while- hills, tranny, cutty spots, but pretty much whatever. Zero is just boring, and Marc Johnson is undeniably talented.
he most certainly is. however, i dont see how you can skate gaps and rails and watch a zero video and not get psyched to skate. i really dont see how you can say it is boring...with all their videos being up beat with fast music and quick transition editing, while comparing it too marc johnson, whose part was around like 8 mins, slow songs, long transitions and useless in-between clips every other trick, that is boring.

I SUCK!

what up bros?!
Here's some info on Cold War;
It's gonna come out in 2011, but we haven't set a date yet.
everyone on the team will have footage in the vid, but we're trying to focus on the people that didn't have much in SW.
...plus some new dudes; Hatchell, Maatman and hopefully Tom K.

jaesi25-
Yes, Cole is the only "Superstar" on Zero and I feel like we got lucky with that. We've never been about being superstars, we are what we are and if you're into it- cool, if not-cool. We're just gonna keep doing what we do.

Regarding Ryan Lay, we've been giving him Insight stuff for a while and I've been personally sending him Zero stuff since he quit Rasa. I'm down for him, but we have a lot of dudes, so we'll see how it goes...

Tommy ad and some commercials coming soon...

ZERO was my fave back in Misled Youth days.  No Chris Coles back then.  Skateboarding didn't really have superstars back then.  Muska was the only thing close...but still only within skateboard media.  Now there's all these huge contests that give skateboarders media coverage beyond skateboarding.

Actually...I think the reason Chris Cole has kept such a level head while becoming this crazy skateboarding superstar is because he skates for a company like ZERO.  We all know fame does some pretty funny things to people, but Chris Cole seems to be taking all this pretty well.

In all fairness, Chris Cole seemed like a pretty reserved and quiet dude before he got big so it doesn't really surprise me that he's level headed, plus the fact he has a wife and kid to keep him grounded.

you speak in absolutes like you're the authority of skateboarding; not only does it make you sound like a total dick, but somehow you're missing the fact that opinion and preference (amongst other awesome things) is what makes skateboarding different from some stat oriented sport like baseball...

I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt, but you're exaggerations are regular. If Cole left Zero tomorrow, we would absolutely exist. Zero has always been bigger than any one dude. Zero and City Stars are apples and oranges, Zero has been around for almost 15 years and we have 15 people on our team, all with different followings...

I like Zero a lot. I don't think there's anything wrong with Zero, but sometimes I wish Chris Cole would show up to a Street League event in a yellow shirt and swishy pants. I miss World Industries Cole sometimes.

I hope Sandoval has a part in the new video. He's the only guy I really dig on ZERO. Too bad Asta isn't going to have a part since he is on Mystery now and that would be dope if Steamer and Marrisa had a shared part where they both went out to spots and killed it in their own way.

yeah what the hell is that dude talking about, i've never really given a fuck about a chris cole. he's fun to watch for sure, but when i hear of a new zero video (or when ride the sky was coming out) he definitely wasn't high up on my list of dudes i was looking forward to seeing. that said, i agree with your sentiments in that comment entirely, sans steamer. haven't liked anything she's done since bootleg 3000.

Oh yeah...I know.  That was the first video I ever saw.  I actually had so many pairs of Jamie Thomas shoes when I was 14, 15, 16.  He was my favorite.  I bought Dying to Live the day it came to my shop.

But still...the most famous skateboarders in the late 90's were not as famous to the mainstream public as a lot of guys are now.
