That was pretty cool and all, and I appreciate them doing this and stopping to recognize the end of a legendary skater's career, but I almost feel like I've heard all this before. Templeton's 'eulogy' was very well done, but the rest of the 'what do you think about Heath retiring?' Q&A's have all kind of run together for me. Very much looking forward to what the do for the video portion of this. Oh and one more thing, was I supposed to be able to process what was happening in that sequence? I know the trick from other coverage, but that went by just a a little too quick.

Well the video portion is up, but it is only all his parts throughout his career that are on youtube. With those set dates I was really hoping to see something new, even a longer retrospective part would have been cool, but whatever; watching all those videos over and over never gets old.

That first bail in This Is Skateboarding never gets any better. I still cringe when i see it.

just found something else:
leo did a noseblunt (and some other gnarly stuff) on the kinked rail that heath skated on his mosaic part
but kirchart already did it back in 05', the footage was never used

Its pretty nuts how much he has done that will just never be seen, I guess its just because he has so much control over his footage and is at the same time his own strongest critic.

That’s why I was initially so excited about the whole more from heath idea, because it didn’t seem outside the realms of possibility, now that he was free from the pressures of maintaining a professional career, that he might feel a little more open about releasing some of his unused stuff from over the years.

But my guess would be its not going to happen, and that’s up to him, im still happy with his Stay gold part as a book end to an amazing career. One of the gnarliest human beings of all time.
