I noticed Andy Anderson seemed to be riding a sort of egg shape at tampa pro. Kind of an interesting shape, only a slight taper and it a bit squared off and looks pretty long. I wonder if Powell will put it into production. It would be nice to have a flight or VX egg, I'm surprised SC isn't on that.

I don’t know if it counts as an egg but I just picked up a passport spade board and some 159s after diving through this thread. Summer set up and I can’t wait

Should be nice - straight out of lockdown too, depending on where you were.

Shape looks fun, stood on it last night. Waiting on bigger wheels now and some riptide/bones med to really church this thing up right

Not sure if it’s been posted but SoCal has a prime wood egg up right now. It looks perfect, almost like a scaled up huffer.

Deck Specs:
Width: 9.48"
Length: 32.75"
Wheelbase: 15"
Nose: 7"
Tail: 6.75"

Can be found here

Well I have like 9 Andy Anderson dated flight decks.

would love the Skull Skates Deerman egg. but its impossible to get anything from them here in Europe.

Really conflicted on these. Love Chuck Hults, but $60 for a blank is a stretch. Prime is outta their fookin mind with their heritage pricing.

i've never run rails, how do they feel on the eggs? do they add any noticeable heft?

I almost always run at least 1 rail and my skating isn’t tech enough to matter.

That said, rails are pretty small bits of plastic and I don’t think make much heft. Those pig rails are especially super thin and light so

TL:DR - No!

What’s the idea behind putting on one rail? Seen it quite a bit and am curious. Personally, I have not used rails since my first setup around 30 years ago.

Two rails can be a bit too slippery. One rail gives you a bit more control. That's the theory. Usually people put the toe side rail on. This can also help with board slide to feeble/ hurricane combo leverage. Personally, I don't use rails much and when I do I like to use both. Preferably skinny low profile ones.. but I just find them too sketchy on steel coping. I really only like them on curbs.

Right! I thought most people are using rails to protect graphics hence I was confused about the single rail thing. If I need more slide I just put some wax on the board and it usually works out fine.

We have a Heroin board delivery due in tomorrow, with the Deer Man “return to the Forest” board coming in for the first time, his new video part will drop on Halloween.
We have our last drop of Curb Killer Eggs, and the majority of those will be shipping to skate shops, we have a few coming to our online store on Friday, but 80% are to fill back orders at stores.
We also have a Halloween special re-release of an Egg shape for our online store. That will be going live on Friday.
I’ll do a Live video from Baker Boys tomorrow with more details.

Looks like Krooked have a couple of Eggs on the way. This 9.3 looks particularly nice.

i havent gotten any eggs myself but seeing as they're so popular, maybe this could be helpful for people in canada looking for some:

the local skateshop in hamilton has the heroin 9 inch symmetrical  with a collab graphic, available online (they might ship outside of canada, i haven't checked)

empire montreal has the 9.75 symmetrical at their downtown location, but not on their website - maybe it'd be possible to call and ask about shipping?

Blast football 9.5”
Over the trucks it’s pretty much bang on 9”
Wheelbase is 14.375”, not 14.5”, which they state.
Nose and tail are both 6.75” as stated. It’s not symmetrical though. The nose is 1.5° steeper.

Gonna pair it with either Ace 55 Classics or 66 AF1s. Wheels I dunno yet. Generally I’m not a fan of small wheels but we’ll see what goes nicely with this.  :)

If you guys are really serious about eggs you should hit up life skateboards. They do custom shapes, sizes, wheel wells, wb, graphics, and it's all handmade in my home state of Indiana.
