Not sure if this has ABP but this shape looks amazing. Blunted/ squared off egg. 9" x 14.38" wheel base with wheel wells!

Idk how you guys do it… i love the egg/football i’m skating right now. it’s the 8.75 polar, but i’m slowly starting to realize that eggs below 9 inches are a rarity. specifically eggs that are 8.5 over the trucks. there’s the polar one, and the fried egg. and that’s all i know. do you guys know anymore eggs that work well with 8.5 trucks? maybe the uma one?

https://www.warehouseskateboards.com/roger-skateboards-window-watcher-assorted-stains-skateboard-deck-8.75x32.25?source=googleshopping&locale=en-US&gclid=CjwKCAjwquWVBhBrEiwAt1KmwsSLGzpkdS6MW9jTh3Y90H17S7aHDPk490tM2eThbGzco1goSAv6MRoCh1EQAvD_BwE

copped this a few days ago, I love it to death. Mine is pictured with thunder 151s but they stick out a little bit, although you cant tell from the pic I took. 149s would definitely work well. I was waffling between this and the 9.1 moon smile deck but opted for this because it had a little bit of a shorter wheelbase and I just loved the graphic so much. 10/10 for my needs

What size trucks do you guys ride for the g084(I think) couch shape?

What's the widest on either truck side? Basically I'm just trying to confirm if I need something bigger than my af1 55s

Got the board on a very impulsive buy

I usually ride 151s on the Couch. I tried it with Classic 55s and while they looked good on the deck, it was way harder to flip.

finally got around to setting up my first egg. its the 10" Heroin Curb Killer. i've had it on ice since last fall. been lurking this thread for a long time and really gotten obsessed with egg shapes maybe 1 and a half year ago. just never got around to it cause my stack was too big.
something about the round shape just makes me really happy.

set it up with:
Indy 169s
Spitfire 54mm Tablets
1/4th risers
Bones rail

only had a short session on it yet. love how long the nose is. on the other hand the tail is a bit short.

i have a Curb Killer 2 on ice too. hope i can oneday also get some 9.75 and 9.5 symmetrical eggs from Heroin. aswell as the Blast 9.5 egg if they ever make those again.

What a cool set up. love the grip and those trucks look perfectly seasoned.

this looks interesting.  Only stat given is 9.25 wide

https://www.paradeworld.com/products/shake-junt-shelly-deck-925-90-6765197328438/

This board reminds me of my brown Bryan rip best bud.
He got a ccs complete with a turtle graphic on it.
Was probably a Powell. 7.5? Gullwing trucks ccs wheels probably?  Idk wheels were nice and big tho.

Gullwing army was kinda sick. Trucks turned mad good. I could get the real loose. Like a thunder on a destruckto plate  :(
Plz stop killing each other

I’ll be bouncing back and forth between this and a Huffer I set up last week.  Couldn’t resist setting this one up though.

The Eggscape From New York shape in the latest drop looks great - might have to pick that one up

Yeah!!!

So good!

Curious as there are already different dimensions listed for that one (wheelbase)...

https://blacklabelskates.bigcartel.com/product/john-cardiel-snuff-reissue-silver-stripe

9.25" x 32.25"
WB 14.75"

https://socalskateshop.com/Black-Label-John-Cardiel-SNUFF-1991-Shaped-Re-Issue-Deck-Green-Stripe-9-25x32-25.html

Width: 9.25"
Length: 32.25"
Wheelbase: 14.5"

Guessing it is 14.5 which is what it has on the Black Label catalog pic.

Just measured the one at my local.

The wheelbase is 14.75"

Over the front bolt holes where the axle would be is 8.75"

Over the back bolt holes where the axle would be is 8.875"

That tail definitely looks huffer ish, it’s much pointier in the black label images…. This isn’t helping me NOT want to buy one

Awesome that it is almost (if not exactly) like a Huffer.

At least now there are more options for the same shape and hey, who doesn't want a Cardiel board?!?!?!?

Just checked this out in person today. The 14.75 WB was a deal breaker for me. If it had been 14.5, I would have grabbed it. Besides the too long WB (for me) the board is beautiful. Much more normal tail. Not the typical small pinner egg tail. Small pointed nose.
I did grab the stoned spork shaped board though.

I am wondering if it would work the same way for people who redrilled the Huffer down, this one might also be the same, using the six hole baseplate option, drilling in the front shortens the wheelbase and doesn't make the nose overly long.

Just a thought anyway.

That Elijah board sure does look good - 14.38 wb means no redrilling needed too.

Yes.
My first impression when I saw the Cardiel was a scaled down Beamer. Just a little rounder.

I must say - the dimensions of this specific egg, on Indy 159’s, might be one of the most perfect setups I’ve skated in years.

What are you trying to charge? Forget that.  Definitely throw some F4s on there (the only wheel haha)

Ordered them from @PuffinMuffin

Excellent stickers for insanely reasonable prices! (if they’re still being made…)

Gallant just dropped an off shoot of Visit called Blank Check. Slinging blank footballs for anyone interested. I think it’s still clutch but priced cheap enough to run through em
