I especially appreciate the orange jumpsuits, which were used by ISIS to allude to countless Muslims illegally rendered into the US torture program. Of course the overwhelming number of victims of ISIS were Shiites, Sunnis who refused allegiance and Zoroastrians, but some Coptic christians got caught up in the CIA’s war against Assad ISIS rebellion and so that’s all that matters and now, in their minds, christians are the primary victims of religious violence worldwide.

And of course the Coptic christians depicted in this painting effectively practice an entirely different religion than this practice of self-worship which most American christians practice. I can’t tell you what it’s supposed to mean but it’s pretty obvious someone tried to paint a nice ocean sunset picture but decided that it needed something else to make it pop. So they added some Christians tied to a rock .

American Protestantism ≠ Evangelicalism.   Evangelicalism is Neo Con Christianity with a strong spine of Theocratic Phariseeism.    Most Christians (at least when I was in Orange County) have some of the more mellow beliefs I’ve been around.   They are sandals in church types.
