Stephen Lawyer "FAMO" part
« on: November 01, 2018, 10:42:35 AM »

I suck at embedding things/using the internet. I feel like someone needs to sit him down and have a conversation with him about style, trick selection and what it means to be a grown up in the modern world.

When he actually grinds his tricks for more than six inches, I think his tricks are rad. All the body varial tricks that just tap the ledge look silly to me.

Hopefully he's going to start doing 360 sex change and realize he doesn't need to by staying on his regular stance.

The song was absolute trash jesus christ. I hate the body varial crap and when he barely grinds the trick but the board bounce thing and switch 5-0 switch tre were pretty crazy.

Stopped watching after tre flip nosegrind body varial. It's like being at a beautiful mountain lake with fresh water in summer and instead of swimming you pee into it.

He's doing his thing and I think he's pretty fucking good at it. I honestly liked this part more than Duffel's, which all of Slap seems to dickriding into oblivion, and I tend to like Duffman parts.

I feel like i was primed to like this more because of this caption. I am a grown up and it blows. Keep being a lost boy, Stephen.

Agreed that every body varial could've been removed and the part would've been better, though

once upon a time I would scour bobgnarly's  youtube channel for footage of a young Stephen lawyer skating to two cups of blood by grave diggaz, rocking the same black wu tang tee in every clip doing clean technical tricks on ledges and Manny pads.

i miss that young Stephen with his straight forward taste in trick selection, hip hop and attire.

i hope he's a happy man now but I also hope he gets a trade, moves to a quiet town  in the countryside and quits skating

Man he made some of that body varial shit look good, will not lie. Ender was sick too (who did it better, Madars Apse or Stephen Lawyer?) Dude is extremely one dimensional though and I definitely didn't have to sit through four minutes of that.

I saw your mom do a ollie to cooch drop straight down the big black pole, it was gnarly. she defiantly shut that shit down

Only the bump to bar trick was cool. The rest was some of the slowest ledge skating mixed with poor trick selection I've seen recently. Maybe he's the new Ronson Lambert?

Ronson lambert at least slid his tricks for longer than 3 inches most of the time.

Lawyer's parts in the past at least made me angry but this just seemed like I had seen all of those clips before leaving me vapid and indifferent. Pure nothingness. A subtle reminder that I am truly alone in this world, thanks Stephen, thanks a lot.

I thought the switch fs flip nosegrind revert at 4:21 was pretty cool. A lot of grim stuff though, esp. trick at :43, where he pretty much comes to a halt and half his foot is on the ledge.

Worst is how he doesn't do any stairgaps in the part but then has guest spots do them. Come on.
