Lol hold up does he really claim to be cherokee? Did i miss this? And his proof is a picture of a black guy from the 1700s?😂😂😂. Why every non native that claims to be native pick cherokee to lie about?😂
Either way shalom
Usually, Cherokee is reserved for white people claiming to be NDN. An important aspect is that tribal membership is not based on blood or genetics for all nations. You could be considered a full member of many nations without a single blood relative.
I'm half Cherokee and grew up in an area full of them, I think it's the largest Cherokee population in America but I could be wrong (it's either North Carolina or oklahoma, I'm from oklahoma) and black people claim that shit as much as anyone else, they even put legitimacy to it by enrolling them as "freedmen", which I didn't look into too much but I think it's something about them being freed as slaves and somewhat adopting the culture or something, but I really don't care what your tribal card says, which is kind of what I mean, like you may have some Indian blood but if you didn't grow up around the culture and you grew up like whitey and follow a white mans religion then you're not native and fuck outta here with that I all of the sudden decided i was native at 20 whatever years old shit
