Anyone remember what Stranger’s last/most recent deck was AH? It’s been awhile.

I looked back over what I think was almost every AH / DLX catalog from the present and it was the 2020 Summer / Drop 4 DLX catalog that had the "SF Then and Now" series, with Stranger 8.4 shape board.

Even before then, I don't see a lot of his boards in previous years too, but I guess unlike some others who would probably still have their name on a board for another company as long as that company is still going, Larry might prefer to leave the pro boards to the new up and comers and the current established shredders, even though we (the general public) would still be as stoked on his board as any other current pro.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

When was the Goiter deck? I feel like that was circa 2020, too.

There was some interview with Grosso and Lucero awhile ago...and both mentioned how old pros and old graphics will "move wood" so much more than most current stuff. Larry is surely aware of this, and is prolly trying to kick dollars to the kids, rather than himself.

I guess that was a special edition that didn't come out in catalogs, but this is the link to it.

Apparently that came out in 2014

Look Away: Todd Francis
7/17/2014
Longtime friend and Deluxe contributing artist Todd Francis is coming to SF to celebrate the release of his new book, 'Look Away’ with a signing and party at  the DLXSF Shop this Thursday, July 17th at 7PM. Come out to get the first look at the new book and a collection of Todd's work including original Antihero artwork, prints and the new Limited Reissue Antihero deck collection.

I don't know / can't find any other info about it coming out again since then, or at least no other later releases, even though that board is up on someone's ebay store right now.

Definitely only reissues from 2014 from looking them up.

Hmmm...I had one of those, and I gave it to a friend (didn't like the deck) circa 20019/2020?? And it definitely was not signed...

EDIT: Weird, the one I had was NOT an 8.62 (e.g. what's on that ebay store), too.

A version of it here, Where are they now series, 8.28 size...

* But really, I wonder how many special editions or versions didn't make it into the normal catalogs.  Seems I see boards every other day now that are not in regular DLX catalogs, so I guess that is not the best baseline to search anyway.

Yup! Mine was an 8.28....and gave it away because it was way too small/cramped for me.

@Myslapusername
There was no wire. Clark's planet needed him.

.

I was wondering if anyone was going to post anything from the recent awards.  That video is a good one, as are some of the others for the Skateboarding Hall of Fame too.

Thanks for posting.
