Extended family band 360s. Y'all Texan remember this lost classic.?
[close]

Nope, I can't claim TX as I've only been here 9 years.

I claim NC, and only know this banger.

My mom was born down there I think. Camp Lejeune I think it's called. It's on TV all the time something about the water she got lucky rest of the family not so much I heard.
Damn, yeah I grew up 40 minutes from that Marine Base in Jacksonville.  Sorry that sucks.... hopefully they all get a huge payout from the lawsuits.

Thanks y’all. It’s been fun.

Went to neen’s new restaurant, NADC burger. Really enjoyed it. Burgers were delicious, staff was friendly and you can watch skate videos while you wait

Damn, missing the eclipse by one day. Probably for the best. Heard it’s going to be a shit show.

Apparition skate shop on Guadalupe just north of MLK is a cool little shop that is below the street, with shops from the 90’s vibes.

Thanks y’all. It’s been fun.

Heard, mentioned House because its right by our place.
Proper warm up spot. Gonna hit Candyland  the Taylor park on our way back to Dallas.

Any other fun transition stuff?

Yes. Head the fuck out to Taylor and skate the Evergreen park. Do not miss it if you like transition.

*Mueller

3601 Zach Scott St
Austin, TX  78723
United States

east side of Mueller neighborhood NE of downtown Austin has a fun pump track.

*Brushy Creek
(2310 Brushy Creek Rd
Cedar Park, TX 78613
United States)

has THE BEST deep bowl/pool ever. I suck at transition but it’s the absolute best radius on a large bowl I’ve ever skated. As good as Tom’s Ramp/Bowl in NC if you ever skated that
Thanks y’all. It’s been fun.

I don’t like the street part of Brushy at all. It’s just way too tight.

Good day Pals,

I'll be in the Austin area (more precisely New Braunfels) from the 10th till the 24th of October.

Any tips or recommendation? (I have read everything above but just shooting to see if there's something going on etc)

Thanks and SHALOM.

I've been considering Austin for a winter vacation to get away from the snow and cold in New England since you can skate and ride bikes there.

How's the bike riding in Austin?  I like to cruise paths and trails and get weird, but also do bigger road rides.  Any info from the locs?

Thank you kindly.

The trails are top tier, check out st Edwards park(also one of the best swimming holes in atx)the green belt is loaded with good trails just Google Earth it and take your pick. As far as making a skate day with the bike included you're going to want to stay closer to the actual city unless you're really going for it. Check out muller, Mable Davis (weirder layout but I like the hard ones), Georgetown TX just built a new park that is 100% friendly across the board and my personal favorite round rock park (also has lights). Skateparks and trails are great here check em out

Yea the trails are awesome, there’s some single track stuff up near pville park in Pflugerville, pville is a nice park as well, Sandoval has a clip there in the new dickies vid, it’s pretty easy to find a group ride closer to Austin, there is a yellow bike for all your repair needs as well as several other bike shops that are super helpful, I’m still building up my road bike so I’m on a cruiser right now usually I’ll ride down to this nice covered parking garage skate flat and these metal ledges I’ve tucked into the woods, PM me when and if you make it down here we can meet up for a sesh

I second round rock being the most fun park around the city. But that would be an insane bike from the city, worth checking out tho if you have a rental!

Y’all really like RR??? The pyramid is basically flat, the coping on the 1/4s stick out too much, everything flows to the bottom of the park, I’m not a fan of being fenced in, the bowl section is fucking sick though, I could see that being worth the trip

I'll will be in Austin for a week in February with a fat crew to escape the (currently nonexistent) winter. are there any good weekday spots apart from ditches? preferably ledge-oriented. been finding a lot of rad stuff but hard to know the bust rate sometimes

Here's some low-bust ledge spots:
-Alexander Ave, Austin, TX 78702 (they did move the trash can so it blocks part of the ledge though)
-3000 University Ave, Austin, TX 78705 DIY
-And while not ledges, there's an incredible dog park with two long banks you can grind/slide at the top (from the Limo ATX tour video): 4501 Corran Ferry Loop, Austin, TX 78749

If you follow "spotunlocked" on IG you can find a lot of awesome ledges and curbs this dude fixes up. He's really doing the lord's work!

Just living in Austin for a little bit I can recognize the businesses around the spots or the street intersections. Feel like he might leave locations in some of the posts. But also happy to PM any specific ones if you ever need em!
