VX2000 fisheye help
« on: February 01, 2019, 05:22:42 AM »
So my fisheye (unbranded, a piece of shit) broke a few days ago, it fell a few centimeters and the glass shattered. I´m still using it because it looks great anyway but i´m looking forward to buy a new one.
I found this one:
https://articulo.mercadolibre.com.ar/MLA-727423222-lente-xit-xt3052-5258mm-030x-super-fisheye-negro-_JM

Does someone knows if it can be used in a vx2000? I mean it´s 58 mm so i guess so but i don´t want to spend money on something i´m not sure if i can use.
The article is in spanish because i´m from Argentina...

Thanks!

The one you linked is not good.
I would recommend that one: https://www.amazon.com/Opteka-OPT-SC58FE-Titanium-Professional-Camcorders/dp/B001P1PXA0

Yeah, get the Opteka Titanium 58mm fisheye ^^^. It's the best fisheye you'll get for the vx aside from the mk1. BUT don't pay $300 for it! Lurk eBay and you can score one for less than $100

Is that opteka bayo or thread-on? I have a thread on one I’d let go for hella cheap.

Mk1 with a 2000/2100 bayo. Nothing else is gonna come close to making that 2000 look good.

'nuff said.

Been filming with this setup since I got my VX21 up until last year, when I got my mk1 (and simply changed the bayo to use the same lens). I wouldn't fuck with anything else. Buut I would say a mk2 is second best after that, if funds don't allow for a mk1.
i don’t think any of you are real, i think slap was invented by my mom to make me think people want to talk to me

Don't do that minidv should be one and done uses as you run into quality loss when recorded over. You can get 10 for 30 bucks on amazon.

Ha, this again! I'm from the UK, but not the same Harris.
I'm James Harris, the budget version of Jacob.
