It is a little weird that we haven't heard anything. I wonder if last year leaked cuz of the gram and they locked it down better this year. I assume it happened last fall but I haven't heard a peep.

listening to Burnett talk makes me cringe. I understand he’s trying to appeal to people that don’t skate but it’s gotten pretty fucking corny. Vice needs to bring back the arto episodes then fade away. They’ve turned into that guy that gets pretty good at skating, gets shop flowed boards, but let’s it gets to his head and turns into a kook that talks too much. The dumbasses made fun of Elon Musk for not inhaling the blunt he smoked on Rogan.

I actually also really like Rick McCranks two Vice shows. Abandoned and Post Radical which i hope has another season or two. Other than that shit and KOTR its pretty lame...

I love Rick Mccrank but he’s pretty awkward as a tv personality. He’s definitely a smart guy and well versed but his voice always seems kind of shaky and unsure of himself. I did like the shows though for what it’s worth. Had a certain darkness to them I really enjoyed. I don’t mind Viceland as a tv channel but the vice website articles are on some other shit. I miss the old vbs.

Bummer. I figured Thrasher was gonna make their own webisode kinda thing or 2hr full lengths like they did in the past if Viceland didn’t aire it.

Don't see why Thrasher need viceland for KOTR. Would be a lot better if they just released weekly shows on the Thrasher site or just the stuff in the mag. They've been running KOTR for fucking years why is it now they suddenly have to have support from a TV network

Although it was for sure a watered down version of the original straight to DVD KOTR's, the Viceland one was decent because it had enough cross over appeal that my girlfriend like it and would actually be excited to watch something skateboarding related.

This also lead to "Why don't you buy Foundation boards, those guys are my favorite"

They never filmed it last year. Didn't you notice (or not notice) that there was nothing on Instagram about teams, routes, challenges, etc? I figured it was because they had to go back to the drawing board after how awful KOTR 2017 was, but it makes just as much sense that Viceland didn't fund it. Whatever, between Birdhouse's orgy of machismo and Evan Smith eating dog shit, just let it die.
