all this talk about pat burke has me wondering what happened to jon goemann, the patron saint of the impossible pre dylan. Dude was so ahead of his time.

i just found his new instagram account @jongoemandoesthings or something along those lines a week ago and he posted what seemed to be new clips pretty often so far.

think he is a chef or something- according to another insta he had a while ago that i can't remember the name correctly......

seems to still ride slave boards and looks good on it too!

He’s still around and skates. Was next to him in line to use the John and struck up a conversation about skating and he was genuinely surprised I’ve heard of him.

So I'm a huge fan of Goemann and $lave, just getting that out of the way.

The last time i ordered boards, I asked:
1) When AJ was going to have a board?
2)is there a full length video in the works and will Goemann have a part?

The answer was "Soon, Yes, video should be out end of summer, Goemann has a part"

I mean two years ago it was the impossible, last year it was back bigspin, next year itll be switch hardflip or something. theres always gonna be a go to trendy flatground trick for lines

Impossible is such a bad trick to use in flat on lines, impossibles were meant to be done over things, not on flat or down things in my opinion. I always thought seeing someone impossible stairs looked really gross. Back bigspins don’t look good in lines on flat lol, unless it’s the final trick of the line, and even then that looks corney. Treys and back 3s or a switch hardflip^^^ are all great candidates for flatground mid line tricks.

I loved the way they skated. HATED the way they looked.

i'm actually skating a pair of chukka low pros right now, they look a bit better than the old ones but skate the same. check them out if you can find them

Interviewed him and chat with him through Instagram regularly; skates a lot, working on a pizza business and is still relevant. One of my all time favorites. Still biting his look over here. Just nowhere as good nor ever will be.
