Frontside bluntslide on a ledge, just as I was learning how to pop off. Don't even know how, but split my shin open down to the bone. 16 stitches for that one.

Several of my broken bones were on basic tricks: rock to fakie (wrist), FS 50-50 (arm), BS 50-50 (ankle).

Then I went and broke my elbow trying noseslide to nollie laser flip out. I stuck it twice, but I didn't even get the noseslide part on the one where I broke my elbow.

I knocked myself unconscious trying rock to fakie on a spine. Was wearing a helmet at an indoor skatepark and just woke up randomly after being blacked out.

Broke my wrist after speed wobbles

Most recently I was ollieing another deck, clipped it, it toppled over wheel side i landed on it and fell so damn hard but luckily I was good. It was fucked up because I didn't see it coming-- I was so disoriented by the impact. I think I'm still not quite back from it.

And... I forced a heelflip one winter and stomped primo and heard a loud AF "pop!!!" noise... but it was my board against the pavement. Ankle was severely rolled limped for 2 months.

I remember I ollied this curb years ago after starting skating again, my board slipped out and my left shoulder mashed the ground (I mean, this UGLY "mash" sound was made) and I lost almost all the range of motion in it for like 8 months. It was probably a hairline fracture or some shit but I never went to the doctor.

This little nipple/volcano thing at our local park. It just started to rain, and i popped over the side of it, and when i landed i slipped out so hard and fell right on my tailbone, smashed my right elbow and then knocked myself out. I woke up a sec later and couldn't stand up, thought I was paralyzed. Then the pain hit and I just laid there for a few minutes until I could roll onto my side and push myself up. Had a massive bruise on my arse for 3 weeks, couldn't sit down for one and my elbow still hurts.

When I was 12 I tried to boardslide down this railway tie that we moved in the gap between two parking lots. Ate shit and got multiple fractures in my left wrist (I'm left handed). Two days after the cast came off I crashed a snowmobile and broke it all over again.
Now 30 years later I can tell when then the weather is going to change..but I'd try it again.

I tried to nose bonk a trash can. My front foot slipped to the front of the nose and i rolled my ankle so my foot sole touched underneath the deck. My ankle immediately swole up four times it's size and my whole foot was black/blue. Couldn't skate or walk properly for 4-5 months.

That's horrendous. In fact a lot of these have me feeling lucky I haven't done anything really bad to my ankles.

I just remembered this one... There used to be a "mini ramp" at this half indoor half outdoor park I'd go to. Except the ramp was prob around 8-9 feet and to this day I believe built incorrectly. Had too much vert for the size. I dropped in fully padded like 3 times, I go back up try it again... ate it like a sack of bricks to flat. Luckily I was about 14 at the time otherwise it would've been devastating.

Had a weber a fracture on my left foot this year from trying bs bluntslides and folding my ankle while landing. They were working really well that day and i became to careless. Haven´t tried bluntsliding a ledge since then but still do them on slappy curbs.

Ate a buncha mushrooms and went for a sw bs flip over the hip at my local, landed one foot on one foot off and twisted my knee so hard. Haven’t skated in 2 weeks since, it blows. Pretty low impact move did not expect to get fucked up that bad.

highlights I can recall ( although there are plenty more, I'm unfortunately not a natural and had to work for all of my tricks )

Probably about 10 yrs old  ... doing slappy bluntslides on three yellow super waxed curbs in line.  Things were going fine until I leaned back too much, slipped out and focused my back directly in the middle on the middle curb.

Vans Milipitas Skatepark was trying to ollie the pyramid to tail down the hubba.  Ollied, landed on my tail at the perfect placement on the hubba and shit stuck.  I somehow instead of flying forward as you'd expect with that speed went face first to the ground right at the bottom of the hubba, missing it with my face but clipping it with my arm.  Surprisingly no serious injury minus what I'm assuming was a concussion.

Skating a 6 stair rail solo one day when I was first learning them and did a few boardslides.  This was before I had money to get a board when I needed so the tail was pretty razored down and not much left.  Went boardslide to fakie and my foot landed half on half off the almost non existent tail causing it to roll off and me to roll over it with the full force of coming off the rail.  Couldn't walk for a few weeks

I was trying to ollie off a curb into nose slides on a planter a couple of feet away. Got ambitious and started trying various shuvits out.

On one attempt, the board slid away and my hand landed on the corner of a broken tile on the inside of the planter. Ripped a 4-inch/1-inch chunk out of my thumb and palm. Got a better look than anyone should at the bones and tendons in my hand.

Bonus points. I ran to a nearby Chinese Dr who only put in 4 chunky stitches, leaving me with a hand that looked like something in a butcher shop window.

That night, I woke up with my hand spurting blood all over my bedroom wall. Jets of blood flying 3 feet in the air. Had to go to the ER to have it fixed right.

Ended up having to wear a stinky wrist guard for 18 months whenever i skated. Weak.

i tried to bs 50-50 up this weird ledge near a loading dock where the ledge went up like a hubba and the ground went down like a bank.  board kicked back i fell forward and for some reason didnt even try to catch myself as i landed on my side.  my friend equated the noise my body made when i slammed to someone dropping a ham out a 2 story window.
more heaven-cruise than hell-ride.

Probably one of the funniest ones I've taken, was meant to be straight 5050 drop 5050 but the lock in on the first 5050 fucked up and went feeble so when I dropped I landed on the nose, slipped out and flipped back. Got up, ran back and did it next try then sat down and realized my pinky was broke.

Went to this lil skate jam event thing on Sunday at a park under a bridge, ended up drinking and smoking a bit too much to skate properly so just cruised about. Theres this kicker to ledge with the kicker right up against it making for a perfect wallie spot, seen my pal trying it so I told him we'd do it doubles to get some hype going. Arguably I should have went first instead of second as if there's one trick I'm consistent with at wallies whereas he was sticking or bailing. Third attempt in and he bails his, I stick mine and roll away into his board, get pitched right when his board flips over and just took the impact onto my thigh/ribs by landing on his wheels/trucks. Got a nice lil bruise on my ribcage from that.
