Darby v Weck?
« on: November 13, 2019, 05:37:25 PM »
The very over skater/pro wrestler came with “Weck” spray painted on his board.   I thought it was bs he’d have anything to do with Weck, but it was right there

Apologies for no pic - watching live broadcast and couldn’t rewind I

what

On AEW Dynamite tonight on TNT - the skater/pro skater Darby Allin (Jenkem interviewed a month back) came to the ring with WECK spray painted on his board I guess in response to Weck making fun of him on IG.  I wasn’t able to snap a photo of it quick enough.  Thought it was as interesting as Weck news can be (low bar) so see his “name” on basic cable

this seems like an obvious ploy to turn Weck into a pro wrestler. Can't help but think this is a huge, not so subtle act

MJF already exists so he’d be redundant in Allin’s promotion

this could actually be an industry young Joel thrives in.

-over-inflated egos/senses of self worth
-loud, over the top/over-acted behavior in general
-dem roids
-borderline homo erotic choreographed dance routines

sounds right up his alley

weck is getting a push. this is how hillbilly jim started. he was in the crowd a few wks in a row enjoying the show and then he entered teh ring to save hulkster from master fuji and don muraco or maybe it was bobby the brain's stable? it was an unfair fight and hillbilly jim entered the fray and in exchange, hulk hogan taught him how to wrestle.
i think this kid and weck will both turn face and be like a rock n roll express but w/ skateboards.

Wrastlin kinda cool from a distance. Specially the vibe pre 2010. But throwing shade at a skatebirdn celebutard probably career sucide nd not the brightest idea.

exciting storyline nonetheless. Now that dime gladitor contest makes sense. AEW × Dime ppv on the way.

I think in a feud Darby would win. Weck would beat his ass but he'd make a strong come back

Shane Douglas and Johnny Ace rode to the ring on skateboards back in late 80’s NWA as the tag team Dynamic Dudes. Weck and Darby should team up as a reboot.

When the referee isn't looking, he could blow a foreign dust into Weck's eyes to gain the upper hand

But isn’t he short?

Eddie Guerrero was 5ft8in...

how tall is Weck?
if he's shorter than that, you're probably right... how do you make a chode marketable?

Not a height dig, Vince MacMahon is a notorious size queens and usually doesn’t book smaller guys to win unless audiences force his hand.

I don’t watch wrestling but I know storylines are a big part of it. If this is how they develop the Weck v Darby storyline, it’s an impressive effort.

I see it though, get the two skaters pitted against each other, bring in new viewer base, and Weck already has the nickname.

I would watch this fight, in the ring or in the streets.

Or in the sheets?
You know I thought these forums were a for skating not discussing fetishes

Nice Heroin Texas Chainsaw Massacre deck.

By the logic of some posters:
Darby on heroin confirmed

That being said this "beef" looks as real as wrestling
