I’ve been jerking wrong the whole time. I’ll try it this way if that’s how it’s done.

Yeah, I had that eagle prior to these $lave’s, the measurements are identical. Get a 9-er man, they really aren’t hard to manage.

Eh my ankles/feet are pretty fucked and I struggle with bigger/heavier setups. I've been skating 8.38 lately and even that is kind of pushing it, it's really hard for me to get enough oomph to do a real 360 flip so I end up doing something between a varial and a 270 flip most of the time. I really dig watching dudes who ride like 8.75+ decks though, it's like someone driving a muscle car - there's just something inherently cool about it.

And yes, we've firmly established that I butchered that grip job.

Morning Bell 8.375
Thunder Team 149
Spitfire Tablet 99a 53mm
Jessup Grip
Some old cleaned up Bones Swiss

I rode this exact setup before and had to come back to it because it's such a good balanced setup.
Also if anyone could help me out I was having trouble linking the image directly so that it showed up
Edit* Thanks for the help, figured it out

As far as I know, northern co has always been made by drifter out of GA

917s are nice bareback wood on the mellower side, but watch out some models have 14.5-14.75 wheel bases.

First new complete in 7 years!  ;D

I switched it up big time. This was meant to be my ramp board but on my first little lunch break skate I realized I love flip tricks on it.

1. I wanted to get a bigger board for transition (I normally skate an 8").
2. I wanted to try Spitfire Classics as opposed to Formula Fours because I wanted more control
3. I got some Swiiiiissss

D.O.A. 8.5" with a square tail. 14.25" WB
Independent Stage 11 Forged Hollow Trucks 149
Spitfire Classics Wheels
Bones Swiss Bearings
Bender Hardware 7/8" Allen
MOB M80 Griptape

All from Comfort Skateshop. Thanks Chris and Dee Dee!  ;D

Hey cricketclub is it just the angle or does that DOA shape taper over the back bolts?  Regardless really love that setup.
All you got is today, get out and skate.
