DOA 36 Chambers, flat as fuck 8.5" (14.5" WB)
Ace 55
F4 99 Tablets 51mm

I never leave the top graphic exposed but the Menace tribute is too good. Also, I posted in the Ace thread that 55s on an 8.5 looked bad, but my 44s felt really skinny on this one. It looks OK with the tablets and I am liking how it skates.
.

Mega dope.
55s with the skinny wheels look rad/fit that deck appropriately.
ACE w/the longer axles, really gives one the opportunity to fit a wide range of deck sizes with one set of trucks. I was looking at my 44s, pretty sure I could run them on an 8 without too much trouble.

You could for sure. For this, I set it up with no washers on the inside and put both of them on the outside so that the threads are as protected as possible. It really brought them in a lot.

Damn tablets and 55s look so good. Ran that combo for a while with a standard DOA 8.5.

Curious to see what pairs best with a 14.5 wheelbase boards? currently looking at a deck that has a 8.75x32.5 specs.

Would Ace Even it out?(44's)
Venture makes it longer?(5.8's)

Chime in...
[close]
For Me Ventures are a no-no with 14.5 wb
[close]
cast or forged ventures...? cast 6.1 on 14.5 I like but i'm tall
I tried with forged 5.8's and Ollies and regular kickflips felt great but all the other flippers were a disaster.

That rules. I've been loving how the tablets skate and I'm definitely into how they look on the aces.

The Anti-Hero light green eagle is dope, 7.81.

Hi-tek has some sick narrow boards.

Girl/Choco has/had a 7.875 that was perfect, but I don’t see it very often.

threw this together cause i was board and needed a filmer. i was using this with a ghetto rigged tripod attachment thing to film myself. i kick this board forward and do my tricks in a line.

the board is my old deathwish. i had to use a small handsaw since the ex took my jigsaw. i also sanded it down to shape with the griptape i peeled off of my old boards.

the trucks are so fucked, i didn't think they would even work but i have never felt a feeling such as that provided by the near perfect turning and carving, it's crazy.

vintage variflex hangars? (the og wheels that were on them are yellow variflex i got from some random tweeker)

kryptonics baseplates with the kingpin super glued. i also cut a couple pieces off one of those silicone straws and put that in the pivot cup area to make the hangars fit better.

minilogo risers

bones/thunder bushings (had to use 2 bones washers and an extra washer to get a good fit)

worn ass bones rough riders with a mix of bronson and bones bearings.

i'm in love with it. it's like a testiment to the artistically driven diy spirit of skating. just gotta think of what graphic to put on it. sorry for the shitty photo, my good phone got fucked up yesterday so i have to use my old one. also sorry for the isolation/shroom induced rambling. im just stoked on this sweet bastard

The polar one is really nice/different in that it’s a little longer in wb and total length. Not crazy, it’s just not super short (I like shorter stuff, I’m short etc etc, but it can be nice to have something not as cramped I guess)

Stocks are low. I’m skating what I have rather than what I want. The results are the same either way.
Most shops have a shop deck in that 7.75 zone. I’ve skated a few different ones. Some real decent.
