👆🏽🤣 8.5 get over it. 8” is where it’s at bozo.
🤣😝
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

Incase anybody was curious about TFunks setup. Little guy street skating 169s

Super glad you posted this. I’m 5”5 and I’m skating pretty much this exact setup (Creature Stump 9” instead of a Baker). I love it

he definetly was on rattling loose trucks back  a few years.....at least that is what i assumed.
but like i said before, this setup makes sense for his type of skating. so do a little tighter trucks

I had a set of them in 55mm 2 or 3 years ago, these 57s are far more symmetrical than that size was, I remember quite enjoying them, I scrape all my wheel graphics off so I think I’ll enjoy both sides of these too to switch things up.

Set up cop needs to meet the vegan police. Too bad they can’t enjoy skating. I used to get em at the local shop back in jersey. Here in oakland there’a not much variety. I’ve thought about ordering sml to try em.

true. I feel a board that big w/ mellow concave would be a lot of fun to cruise and throw around.

They used to sell this shape. Its the one kader used to ride and it was his first pro model. It isn't a reskinned orange eagle its a unique shape. I'm sure some other brand has used it but I believe it originated with baker.

Dug out my old kader 9 and took some measurements:

Nose: 7
Tail: 6.5
Wheelbase: a hair under 14.25
Forgot to measure overall length but I believe its around 32
[close]

Yep, that is about it.

I had one too, that someone bought and didn't want (for whatever reason) so I set it up and really only skated it a couple of times.

It was so short and almost weird in shape - probably why the other guy didn't want it, as it was only skated once or twice too, but I could see someone wanting a wider board with shorter dimensions for whatever they were wanting to do.

[close]

The shape you posted looks more tapered than the one in the TFunk pic. Heroin has a 9.0 deck that looks more like his setup (fuller nose/not as short) and is through bakerboys so I wonder if the shape got carried over. A buddy of mine had the Heroin deck and the shape looks pretty similar.

https://www.skatewarehouse.com/Heroin_Questions_Dead_Toon_Deck/descpage-HRCQDTDK.html

I feel like it is more photo distortion than anything else.

This thing is short and stubby, actually such short kicks, so even when I look at that top view, I think they look ok, then go get it out and stand on it and put it back in the box.

Either way, I am sure one day someone will want it, so it will find a new home.

That Heroin board looks way better, both in shape and overall dimensions, but that could also be me thinking anything is better than this short Baker board.

I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

I kind of prefer the weight. I ride bikes too so I’ve always just made the correlation that way. I’ve always made my setups heavier because I just don’t feel “connected” to my board if it’s light. I mainly skate transition though and when I do street skate I barely flip my board so it’s never been an issue. Not going to say I skate like Tfunk but that’s definitely the style of skating I prefer. As long as the wheelbase is short, it’s fine.

totally get it....wheelbase does a lot indeed!

thinking about it, i like a certain amount of weight in my setup, for example i like the team thunders only, lights/ hollow lights feel flimsy when i flip the board....but skating thunders cause they are pretty light- even the team ones.
and i guess i'd have sized up too if i was skating transition mostly!

alien 9" with og mantis based shape
ace 44 classics
F4 conical full 54mm 97a
quantum atoms
pepper grip, shorty's light 7/8

pretty stoked with this setup. nimble for it's width, less pointy than huffer's nose and eggs.

just a heads up, 8.75 will likely hotrod. i measured about 8.5 over front axel, 8.25 over back with classic aces. widest spot is a little behind front bolts, so that foot feels locked in while cruising. overall shape just feels "right" to me. as @RyceHarper said it feels smaller than you'd think for a 9

8.25 Polar
148 Thunder Teams with Real 1/8" risers
Spitfire F4 Conical Fulls 52mm

Switching between riser/no riser set-up to see the pros and cons. So far, I like how Thunders feel with the extra height on a flatter board. Short legs are spared with the 31.875 length. Trying out a Limo 8.25 on the side and hating every single minute of it with or without risers, too steep.

Set up this Darkroom, the shape was too good to pass up.
8 inch
147 thunders
Spit conical full 54mm
Bender bolts
Big balls
Darkroom grip.

First time not having risers on my board in 20+ years
Hopefully I’ll stop wiffing my tricks.
Can’t decide on Lukodas, Stevie’s or some lynx Ogs I’ve got coming..
so no shoes in the pic

How are you liking Darkroom? Been curious as to how they feel being a very low-key brand. Set-up looking sharp though.
