I like the blue stripe on one side. Is that white overspray on the other side or is it a glare?

Liked my previous 8.5 B2 decks so figured I'd try for the 8.38...this is my backup setup...

Baker Kader B2 8.38 x 14.38 x 32
Indy 149 Titanium w/ IKP baseplates
Spitfire F4 Conical 54mm/99d
Bones Swiss
Derangement Lab HW (allen/stainless)
MOB grip
Half Cab '92 (today, lol)

EDIT: this is just a hair over 8.25 and is marked "8.3" on the shrink wrap sticker too. It feels like it too.

This setup has finally cured my madness after almost year and two months!

Krooked Team Eyes 8.38x32.25 14.5WB
Ace AF1 Hollows 55s
Ace 1/8” plastic risers
Spitfire Formula Four 56mm conical full (around 54ish now)

Took it just for a short spin, since the package came a bit late.

The deck seems a bit wider than your normal 8.375 or 8.38, but it’s just perfect.
Even though I am a rather short guy (5’6 or 171cm) it feels super good and flips just fine.

The hollow Aces are my first hollow pair and I have to say, they are super good! Paired with the raisers, the board packs some serious pop. I was really surprised how high was the first kickflip, with a nice pow on the shoes.

This setup feels really lively and fun while also being comfortable.

All in all, this shit cured my madness! I’m finally free.

Thank you people of SLAP, you’ve helped immensely.
Peace.

I dig this!

Polar Halberg 8.25x32x14.25 w/pepper galaxy grip
8.3 ML stock but w/bones flat top washer
ACE 1/16th risers (they're not soft like shock pads but not as hard as regs)
Bones x97s/swiss 6
1" Enjoi genderbenders

I forgot how good ML trucks feel, easy turn, light, excellent grind, blah blah, about 51mm with the ace pads, so the wheel wells are on point. Gotta say tho, I don't like this shape as much as the 8.25x31.875x14.125 polar...subtle difference the but the nose/tail are better on the smaller one, they look/feel a bit more full.

Current set up
8 Primitive with black magic grip
Standard 139s stock. Pivot cups fucking squeak bad.
53mm prize fighter. With swiss 6.

I set this up first broke in one day on a warm up flat session.
8 with black magic grip
Venture lows
52mm prize fighters with swiss 6

Same as current set up. Broke in a warm up session on flat as well , same place too.

I'm heavy as fuck (250) and skate Af1s.
Might be the reason i broke both boards quick but doa would last me weeks landing like shit. They would just flex lol. @noseb has seen how i flex the DOAs and they still skated great. Wish i could get more.

What trucks to you suggest would pair well with a very flat and mellow kicks board?

Honestly any. Its all preference. I figured venture low was perfect but tried some indys and saw that my pop improved a lot. But i had more consistency with venture lows.

Nah, the angle is fucked up, even the wheels look kinda sideways.

It may be the plasticity leather. They didn’t have any grip. And my flick felt like it was just sliding off the board. My last session was better though. Maybe the suede ones are better.

Girl 8" G045
Royal 139 Ultralights
52mm F4 99a classics
Quantum Isotopes
Jessup
Diamond P-Rod 7/8

I like this shape a lot. First Girl board in years and the wood feels good. Stiff and snappy. The isotopes are really nice too. Think I'm going to stick with these for a while after 20 years on swiss.
