I kinda believe it but at the same time I'm not superstitious when it comes to skateboarding cause I feel it's a waste of fun if your worried about something that is all mental

I asked about the curse cause I just bought a red top ply dgk and first session everything was good then last spot of the night I was getting a few ollies on this bump over flat and curb then all of a sudden I landed really far back on my board and rolled my ankle so my fun fresh deck session was done and that wasn't all, when I was gripping it earlier before the session I fucked up and put the cut out side on the wrong end

But I feel it's all coincidence really, I was just rushing my grip job so I can go skate and I rolled my ankle cause I obviously leaned back rather than forward so all I can really say is always lean forward

Thanks for the heads up krooked

The red top-ply curse is some kind of contagious mental virus. I don't think it effects you until you hear about it for the first time, after that you gotta watch out. Stick to green/purple/blue/orange to be safe.

People fucking suck. Some huge bag of shit that calls themselves a skateboarder poached my pics and tried to scam a free deck from Northern.
Can you elaborate? Thieves really get under my skin but so-called skaters stealing from small companies is a new low. Is this shady cat on here? If so you need to expose him/her. Couldn't they (northern) just tell they're your pictures?

Truthfully yes it is, like I kinda see a red ply on this dgk I'm riding but at the same time I can't tell if it's actually a purple red. So I'm just gonna ignore the superstition and skate it.

It's odd though cause I only got the dgk cause it was a really nice shape I was digging and it was light ish, idk if this is true but supposedly since it's a boo Johnson pro model it's his specific shape for dgk with a round nose and tail which got me thinking since dgk Is bareback/generator is the boo Johnson special a pre REAL full shape ? A generator deck with rounded nose and tail

Preduce "Snake Hands" by guest artist Hideyuki Katsumata - 8 x 31.75 with a 14.25 wheelbase
Thunder Team 147 Hi's with Indy conical 90a bushings
Spitfire Radial Slims 52mm 99a
Bronson G3's
Shorty's Lights 7/8 allen head bolts
Mob Grip
Lucas Pro

Set up a new kwanzaa complete
Really stoked on the shape of this board. It has a long and full tail, which makes it feel almost like a "twin-nose" board.
After nerding out in the Truck Setup thread, I decided to toss the mushy clear yellow Thunder stock bushings and replace them with some Indy aftermarket conical bushings. Feels good, however new trucks are still a bitch to break in though...

Why can't Adidas drop the rubber toecap baby shoes and just make the Lucas Pro forever?

Yeah, I tried a few different bushing combos (Krux Best, Bones Med, Thunder) and the 90a Indy conical bushings seem to fit and feel the best of the bunch. Still squirrely, but with some decent rebound/snap-back.

Got bored of not having/looking at a board without rails so I threw by Krux (which have some slightly bent axles) on the Krooked

No top washer doesnt bother you during smith grinds or anything? I was thinking of running the 88 cylinders but with a sanded down top bushing so i can still use the washer

First time running no top washers so it'll be fun to find out. I'll most likely do exactly that - sand down the bushing to get that washer on but sanding a bushing is a pain in the ass ha. Anybody got any tips?
