I cut an old Krooked Worrest deck into a Polarizer style board.  Cut a pair of Sure Grip Rollerskates in half and put in some Powerdyne Bushings with one Bones Medium and some Rough Riders.  I've never had so much fun rolling around, and the turn is incredible.  Can do a full 180 carve in about 4 foot of space and it's a tonne of fun in a bowl or carvey skate part.  And it goes super quick too.  Would like a bit more wheelbase, but still it's good times.

Krooked Worrest cut down to 6" wide x 27 1/4"
Sure Grip skates
Powerdyne Hop Up Kit bushings & 1 Bones Med on bottom rear
Swiss Super 6
Bones Rough Riders 56mm

Few reasons, takes away the option to kickturn which forces you to think about your lines and makes for a different ride and it feels nice to ride convex concave on a skinny board. Theyre Neil Blenders brainchild, he makes a small amount every year so i just thought id make a budget version

This is interesting and while I wouldn’t seek it out, I would like to try it in a bowl

This just got me more stoked to skate than anything this past week. Fucking props
I don't really understand what's going on and I haven't read this thread yet, but I can tell I'm angry.

Look for Raven Tersheys hillbomb on a polarizer, its fucked.  Peter Hewitt rides em too, and of course Neil Blender. Theres a bunch of rad vids out there but its all pretty chill.

Nah mate, you can turn on a dime and it won't bite. Trucks are too short.

I cloned my pool board. I'm not able to get to the park as often as I'd like to, and
I wanted to have the same setup for the street, so I can get used to how big it is.
I don't like to skate my park setups on the street because they get trashed too quickly.

Film Trucks 159mm
Spitfire full conical 52mm,really not into it
Bronson Bearings

[close]
How are those film trucks?
[close]

great trucks.
[close]

how do they turn? they're really cheap so i might get a pair.
[close]

yep, would love some feedback on the trucks (not that i'm gonna change my indies, but i'm really intrigued)
[close]

the trucks turn really good, the shape is like the old indy(something like the stage IX) but lighter.
i changed the bushing but it depends if u are into loose trucks or not.anyways i set up always a set of bones bushing in all my trucks.also they are cheap, but not a mini logo truck or slant truck.anyways also krux is cheap but they are great trucks.
[close]

did you buy them off their website? are the prices for a single truck or a set? that might be a weird question but i still bump into online shops that sell trucks separately and the website says "truck" and not "trucks" when you click on a product. i'm a little confused because of that.

They are cheap i had mine because i start work with them in Italy wth my distribution.
Anyways a set is under 50 euro, a really great price over here.

i built one up with some skate city trucks from a gold cup plastic complete but i only rolled around on it a couple times before giving it up

the trucks are amazing, but the wheels that came on them are too wide and soft. I need to get some of what you're riding and re-cut an old deck

Yeah the rough riders with top bearings and a good set of bushings is the secret to making any old skinny board a ripper. I needed to file down the bushing cups a bit and have about 1mm of clearance but it totally works. So much fun.

I’m not sure but I don’t think it’s mob, doesn’t seem as grippy. I just got it for the Ohio connection in my mind lol.

We will see how long this lasts haha. I’m hoping going back to lower trucks my flip tricks will get more consistent again.

Thought I would go smaller in hopes of learning more new flip tricks, and first night out I struggled with my go to’s after skating the Polar 8.5 for awhile...

Traffic 8.25 w/ 14.25 wheelbase
Indy Ti 144’s (aftermarket cylinders)
Spitfire F4 Radial Slim 52
Bones Swiss 6 (I ordered this complete w/ Indy Blacks and just swapped my Bones out from my bigger setup)
Mob
Diamond Bolts

I was also really surprised that these 144’s turn looser than my broken in 149 Ti’s. Change is hard, but I’m going t stick it out with this setup in hopes of getting more tech.
