I decided to live dangerously. I want to give PS Stix one more shot and I wanted to step back down in size to 8'.

Quasi 8' - Love this shape. Overall length, and nose/tail length are perfect. That said, I'm just still undecided whether or not I like PS Stix boards.
Thunder 149Ti (Khiro conical)
SML Suciu 52
Modus Ceramic / MOB / Shorty's

Seeing this skated with the colored ply showing a bit makes me love the graphic even more. Does this measure/feel ~1/8" smaller than the listed size like most PS boards?
[close]

It does feel pretty close to the 8' it is listed as, measures just a hair under. PS are notorious for dubious sizing. The other thing that surprised me was that the tail is a normal 6.5ish and the nose is 7. It's been my experience with PS boards over the years that the smaller you go down in width, the tail and nose length shrink with it.

So far, so good, it's just that PS boards start to feel soft to me after a short time.

Thanks, now I want one even more. I know a lot of people have their issues with P.S. but I've had some great luck with them the past couple years.

Yep, reason why I like it so much. Can't do the mega long wb on most larger decks.
Full nose and tail too.

thank you, happy to hear that. as for the rail, i use one because i only do frontside lipslides and backside boardslides, so i don’t feel the need to use two rails

Blind Gonz Banana Skull Reissue - Screenprinted
Indy 169s
Bones 55mm
Bones Swiss
Jessup Grip
Bones Bushings (Med)
Bones Rails (not on yet, obv)

Gonna put some small risers on it, the black bones rails and need to buy more grip to finish off the grip job.  Had a few rolls on it though and it's such a nice board, reminds me of my Blind Coloured People deck from the early 90s.  Long, wide & quite flat.  Its super fun!

Width: 9.88"
Length: 32.75"
Wheelbase: 14.5"
Nose: 7.03"
Tail: 7"

Kinda regret not getting titaniums though, but they'd really not make much difference.  It's a real boat.

I started getting a lot better when I went back to college and started taking a lot of math classes when I was 31.

I figured out how to figure things out better, if that makes sense.

Indy 149 w/ Bones Medium bushings

Deck feels perfect. Right length and width, flips easy but is stable for my old ass.

That is a nice set up.  I do not understand how people can skate grip like that.  Just not my thing.  I go just black jessup, maybe with a little line so I can tell the nose from the tail.  The whole Shake Junt and Grizzly stuff is way over my head.
