Exactly! This thread is awesome and even “not interesting” set ups are interesting IMO. I really like seeing what people skate, what they like and why. Plays right into my gear obsession.  :)

Sorry Imp, I was being overly sarcastic.

I did end up switching out the bushing, for a pair of the greenish Destructo bushings I had laying around. It feels great. Those purple stock bushing just would not work right.

I Love to build these type of setups. Wider, Fun shape, bigger wheels, maybe a rail or two, but I never really do them justice skating them. With the weather now, I probably still won't. I'm gonna try to hold out until maybe February before returning to my default setup.

Solid kickflips and nollie flips. Nice slow rotation for a good catch. Everything else was a fucking battle. But its a comfy ride.

Imagine a crail tap board that’s slighty more mellow kicks. (Ive compared) this batch the wood from south central.

Top is blind lotti reissue (mellow concave/steep kick)
Middle is DOA flat
Bottom is standard Alltimers medium concave steep kick

Did your pig wheels have an overwhelming black pepper/herbal/chemical smell? I bought Lutheran 54mm literally 7 months ago or more. They smelled up my whole car from my board being in my car. I stopped skating them and threw them in a bag with old shit. I saw your post and I went and unearthed that bag from storage , open the top and boom chemical smell. Is it on purpose do i inhale the smell.

whats the call on those pig wheels. I was willing to try some, but it looks like they only make one wheel, and I've been in to thinner wheels ATM.

shoot me an email if you are interested
[email protected]
the problem is the shipping is more than the board and it usually turns off the international buyer.
plus the USPS by me is horrible, so I also don't mind not having to go there, but if you want a board email me and we can figure out shipping costs and I will send it.

I'm coming off a set of F4 99s, so it's a massive change. These pigs feel more responsive and faster (My F4s were about a year old - felt really sluggish) . The F4 is ultimately a much better wheel through, especially on shitty terrain. The pigs are definietly worth a try for a new wheel, especially if you're skating parks or smooth concrete.

Normally not a fan of custom grip jobs but I like that one.  Skating radial slims (53’s) at the moment... my favorite shapes besides the standard classic shape.

Thanks . It’s by far the most work on my grip ever . Usually it’s just a straight sheet but I wanted to leave the krooked logo then I messed up on the nose with the grip being to short so I cut it back some to add what I had left . Prob the 1st time I ever used a ruler to make the lines straight. It turned into a super fun setup . I had the wheels laying around and I was going to set up some new lock ins but I have no idea where I put them so I was well it’s stupid to just let these go to waste .

your sticker placements makes me want to punch something
I started getting a lot better when I went back to college and started taking a lot of math classes when I was 31.

I figured out how to figure things out better, if that makes sense.

sick grip job, weird question but do your custom orthotics fuck with the heel lock in on low tops? i can almost never wear mine with low tops or my heels slip out of the shoes constantly. ive been forced to removed the insole out of anything low making the ball of my foot effectively naked to any hard impacts.

I never sticker my board unless i get creative with it. Ever seen Brian Anderson sticker jobs? This is the only pic I can find online but whenever I see him locally he always had the sickest sticker setup

yes, i totally get heel slippage on my left foot only which of course is the foot i push with . I have dunks which aren't so bad and i skated today with the dunk elites with the normal dunk insole . how long have you had orthotics ?
