Christmas complete for the new year. Same thing as always.

Polar Nick Boserio 8.25
Indy 144 Hollows with relatively new medium Bones bushings (I hate new trucks)
Ishod 52mm F4s
Cortina bearings because I have a sneaking suspicion bearings don't matter that much and they were on sale

We actually ride a really similar set-up. I just have 54mm wheels, which are probably 52mm now...

Great team, great art, great videos, great bbs wood.  In my opinion, yeah they kinda are.

My favorite 8.25 shape of all time. It helps that they have a bunch of riders I like to support.

Seconded on the Polar rhetoric, their 8.38 is my favorite 8.38.

Magenta 8.5 x 32.3
Ojs
Krux k4s
Bones Swiss
Mob
Lakai Owens

Have this exact board, actually I just went back to skating it because I cracked my most recent one. How do you like it?

Board is wonder. It sort of reminded me of this Jerome Campbell polar board I had a while back. It was the such a perfect shape with a nice square nose and tail. Didn't even get to skate it much since it slipped out from me and got ran over. But I do remember I wasn't too stoked on the graphic. Might have to try more non American brands. I've also been eyeing an isle board.

I like how the first board looks like a reaction to seeing the second.

I've got that same Uprise sticker on the lid of my weed jar. Thought it was jc posting that board at first, made me wonder how many people from Chicago were on here for a second

I absolutely love the fly fishing sticker on your board.  I just looked at the Facebook page, and there were some beautiful trout on there.  None of the wild trout here in Maryland get that nice.

How many set-ups are ok to have?
How long before replacing decks?

Truthfully as many as you want and swap when you feel like it.

In reality, just 1 and swap decks when they snap, crack, or sog.

Do whatever the hell you want.

There’s an interview with BA where he talks about how he’s got a quiver of like 5 different set-ups at a time.

I have 3:

My main, a shitty weather board and a cruiser.

Decks get moved to the shitty weather board after they get a soggy or chipped or whatever.

Thanks for the answers. I’ve done what I want, it’s sad, and not effective. Way too many boards and parts. Don’t skate enough to break much. Skating different set-ups is fun, it’s also a way to never have to try and progress.

Did you read the article where they’re finding sturgeon in and around the Chesapeake again? I’m pretty hyped the water ways are cleaning up a bit. It used tk suck going to the inner harbor as a kid seeing more trash floating than you could see water.
