2 sessions in, the deck is a bit smaller than my last one (width and wheelbase) so it feels kinda funny still but i’m getting used to it. really stoked on the graphic, my homie made it and it’s kind of a shoutout to a little clothing brand thingy i’m doing

pogo 8.375 x 31.875 (14.25wb)
ace 44 classic, stock bushings and pivot cups
spit f4 conical fulls 54mm 99a (thanks reed!)
random bearings
indy bolts (i think) 7/8
powell rib bones rail
jessup griptape

state tkf salems
How do you keep rails in without them popping out?

Not trying to derail the thread, but how often do you guys click back to page one and look through set ups from over 10 years ago? Definitely fun to look back on

Thanks dudes, I appreciate the kind words.

The 55s fit well on -this- 8.5". Its Normans shape, dude is big, so its almost an 8.6".

As fer the concave, its middle of the road. Not too steep, not too shallow, the noses and tails tend to be a little more squarish, especially on the wider boards.

Feel free to DM me if you've got more questions, I'm happy to help!

Hockey 8.38
Thunder 149
Spitfire Classics 54mm
Mini Logo bearings (shop was out of reds)
Mob

A lot of firsts on this one: first Hockey (digging the big nose), first pair of Thunders (always had ventures or krux growing up and have been on indys for the past few years), first set of non-f4 spitfires, first set of mini logo bearings, haha. Unfortunately it's raining today so I'll have to wait to try everything out.

How do you keep rails in without them popping out?

Just apply a thin layer of shoe goo before you screw it on the deck. No rattle no popping out. Remove the rail with a carpet knife blade  when you change deck.

What’s the purpose of deck rails in 2019? Is it purely for aesthetic purposes or are y’all out here Jordan Hoffart boardsliding the shit out of everything?

as said above curb shuffle magic, could also say coping dancing and or rock n roll slides, longer/easier slides on street, etc etc.
