Chapman 7.875
Venture V-Hollow 5.25 Lo + Bones medium bushings
Bones STF V3 50mm
Andale Swiss 2.0
Diamond 7/8s
MOB

That’s a cool set up up.. very nice.. interested to know option on Andale Swiss
i was given a new set which I’m not going to skate anytime soon..

7.875 is a weird size for trucks where i can 5.0 or 5.25

Ive done both with 129 and 139 indys.. still unsure which i prefer

I can't say much about the ones that come in the blue box.

The ones with the white shields are fantastic. They're fast, the shields are fucking tough as nails. I haven't had any shields pop off or had any broken cages. It has the labyrinth race design keeps your bearing cleaner. I highly highly highly recommend the new andale swiss despite whatever experience anyone's had with the other pro-rated bearings.

As for trucks, I like a wider axle. It gives me more room to grind and feels more stable. So i would rather do with a 139/5.2/147 on my 7.8.

8.62 AH
Ace 44’s with 2 speed rings inside
Spitfire classic formula conical 54 (now sub 50)
Sunday screamers
Sunday grip
Sunday hardware
NB# 255’s
[close]

I am also partial to 44s on the DLX 8.62. Your set up speaks to me.
[close]
Damn 44s on an 8.6 would bug the shit out of me, I've been on dlx 8.38s with 44s for the last year or so and they fit perfect. I used to skate 55s on an 8.75 for a long time, when I went down in size I tried 8.5 with 44s and the trucks felt too skinny.

Like tzhangdox said, I run two speed rings inside each wheel, which increases track by 4mm. There's enough room on the axle to run 4 speed rings! This plus a wide wheel and you can get it close to flush.

I've got a pair of 55's, but for me too wide is far worse than too narrow.

I tried to look but they're a bit grungy and all I can see is the Hard Luck logo and the two lightning bolts (yikes) so I've got nothing. I remember the box didn't say where they were made and I was kinda sketched out by that but they work nicely so I didn't worry about it too much.

•8,75 Stereo Paulo Diaz 90’s shape
•Thunder Teams 151
•Bones 100’s
•Unknown bearings
•Bottom bushing Thunder, top Bones medium
•Thunder bolts
•Titus rails

Football shape but not as tapered as the Polar football. Wheels flush I’d say. Looks and feels a bit smaller than my boxy 8,5 Hotel Blue but flips better. Not having that fat nose could take some time getting used to but this feels really comfy and responsive.

Girl Rick Howard 8.5x32
Krux K4s with meh Nora artwork
Spitfire f4s
Bones Swiss
Mob
Diamond hardware
And of course a sweet ass cat sticker like usual.
Hoped a fence the other day and landed in hobo shit so I tossed my states out and bought some Cromers. Pretty decent shoe although the insole is pretty mediocre. Might buy another pair.
I wonder... Do those trucks turn?

The profile of the trucks falls flush with the deck shape but there is room to put in some extra speed rings on the hanger side of the axle. So you could push the wheelbase out further if needed. Bones wheels (V5) have a funny profile to me, they seem skinnier than spitfires, so there looks like a lot of axel past the nut. I’ve got stock bushings and am running my trucks a little tighter until I get more confident. Go get you a set, hope this helps.

how are the ventures? I really skate some.

I started getting a lot better when I went back to college and started taking a lot of math classes when I was 31.

I figured out how to figure things out better, if that makes sense.
