Are you....using the old 149ers? How you like them? They are lower yeah?

I love them. They are low. And yes, they are hella old.

blank 8X31.75 14”WB (the shape looks like the baker OG shape, the tail especially is tapered.)
independent 139 forged hollow.
spitfire f4 52mm conical
mix of andale, bronson and black panther bearings
brostyle hardware 7/8”

and just got some white pro skate authentic’s.

[close]
Where did you get the blank? Any experience with them before? I'm looking for a blank option for times I want a minimalist looking set up.
[close]

I got it from skate warehouse. I’ve never skated one of their blanks before. I’m actually about to go skate this for the first time right now. the wood seems quality though. I swear the 8” shape is just a baker 8” shape.
[close]
Nice! Ill prob bite the bullet and try one. Theyre having a 4th of july 15% off sale so its not that bad to try out. Feel free to leave your experience with it anyways.

well, maybe it’s just certain boards out of their inventory, but it seems like about half the mounting holes, weren’t drilled wide enough. so no matter how much I crank down my hardware, a good majority of them won’t go flush with the board/grip. but I figured just keep skating it, and over time the hardware will settle in. but the board itself is ok. I need to start going to a shop to get boards, because everytime I do, I end up getting a board with a 7” nose! shit drives me crazy. I like to have a nose a bit shorter. At least the tail on it is a bit longer than most tails, so it balances out the big ass nose. I just think a nose that’s 7” and above is too big for an 8.0” and most companies nowadays have big noses on their 8” shape.
This has me cracking up, what exactly does Black Flag have to do with measuring your dick starting behind ya nuts?

Skateboarding is nothing but a game to find the right fits to appear like you're a proportional human being instead of a midget or a giant.

Everytime I read "Destructo" I think of that cool logo they used to have. The one with the 2 hammering guys.

Ventures to me is similar geo to thunder as it spreads the wheelbase but the turn is slower kinda like Indy. Venture on ledges is like Indy on pool coping.

Yeah, this era of Alien graphics is my favorite. I was pumped that they did this one on a shape that I really like as I am not capable of saving boards.

good shit

Thanks, I always get hyped when I see your setups. Alien/Habitat represent everything I love about skateboarding.
