$lave 9.0 w/black jessup
Shorty’s 7/8” phillips
Ace 55 w/Bones top bushings
Spitfire F4 classics 54mm
Bones Big Balls
[close]

Can we get a top view? Please.
[close]

I never took a pic, it’s just black Jessup as stated. At this point the grip is plenty dirty and used, no one wants to see that :D
[close]

I think it's the shape they're interested in, not the grip.
[close]

Exactly, didn’t want to beg but I am definitely interested in the shape not the state of the jessup applied. Looks like a beauty from the bottom.
[close]

My bad on the misunderstanding on my part. To be more clear, I stopped skating this one only after a short while because the top pink ply drove me nuts. I can’t skate a board with any pink or red plies. I’m on an anti hero classic eagle of the same dimensions now. 9x33.25 with a 15” wheelbase. Seems to be the main offering with any company that uses generator. I have a Scram on deck which also has the same dimensions.

Yeah but the shape

K, enough now.

I'm guessing you buttfarted the gripjob or some shit as you're skirting around posting a real pic of the top. 🤔

Nah it’s just in my basement which requires walking downstairs and effort and stuff.

8.5” SoCal blank
Ace 44
52mm tablets

This is a symmetrical shape from SoCal and it’s so nice. Board itself is thin and crispy and the shape is awesome. The kicks are more long/pointy rather than short/wide. I’m gonna track down another symmetrical deck next. I recently set up the 44s and the tablets are newish too. Really really like this set-up.

I was always looking in the #SoCal Decks category (which is quite empty) but I just found out that they are all in the Blank Deck section (I know it's obvious and I'm stupid).
And wow, they have so much shapes available ! Even shapes similar to Polar 1992 or P9. I'm going to give a try.

Better than I expected to be honest. I got them when they first came out just for casual wear because i was skeptical about skating nubuck, but they’ve worn in nicely and the nubuck they used seems pretty durable so far. I’m hyped on em

5.85" Theeve CSX Hollows with RipTide Pivots
52mm F4 101a Conical Fulls
Swiss 6 Balls
7/8" Modus Hardware

Stepping down a size here and trying out the 101's for the first time in years, will be interesting to see if this can be the go to for now on.

Nice! Are all their blanks from Prime? What is the concave and steepness of the nose/tail like? I was just poking around on their site and its hard to tell from the pictures what the different blanks are like.

I don’t believe their blanks are Prime. They do sell a ton of Prime blanks, but these are a different thing all together. Like another poster mentioned, they are a little hard to find on the site - they are not under the “SoCal” branded decks, gotta go to the “price point” section or something like that.  Once you find them there are pages and pages of options though. $35 or less.

This particular one is the “X9” I believe, there are a few different letters but it is unclear as to what each one means.  Overall pretty mellow, the kicks are slightly steeper than a Girl G033 but not as steep as an old AH I had laying around.

Did you get the grip tape from them as well?
They don't have much choice, the cheapest are their own brand or one made by Bullet (NHS, so is it like MOB?), and I wonder if it may be better to buy grip tapes elsewhere.
