Baker 8.0 x 31.5 x 14.25 WB
Venture 5.8s
F4 54mms 99A
Random mix of bearings
Random mix of hardware, all 1 inch allen

Funny how long that board looks
[close]

Seriously. That thing is trippy to look at! Took me a moment to realize why but I'm still having a hard time processing it.
[close]
Hah, probably cuz i put 5.8s on there instead of 5.2s so it kinda makes it look off, or in this case longer than it actually is.
[close]
nothing to do w the trucks it’s 100% the graphic. It’s trippy
[close]
and that little wave underneath the E it looks like stairs but its freaky too look at

Glad I’m not the only one that saw that.  I was staring at it wondering if I was losing my mind.

Maybe it’s a tribute to that wieger van wagininamenham enjoi ad?

Prime/Socal blank 8.25, spraypainted a pinkish off-white
53mm OJ Elite
Swiss 6 balls, no shields
ace 44
adidas hi tops
I feel like blanks make me feel more some type of way than graphics these days.

Threw some old parts on this muska I got yesterday for maybe flatground

7.75 deck
Seasons x spitfire 53 classics
Forged hollow baseplate and regular 5.2 hangar, not sure how I feel about the gold but it’s all I had forged since the wheels are a little bigger than I wanted

So my quiver is now a 7.75 a 8.1 and a 8.6

I really like this set up. Was just in a shop over the weekend that had the full Shortys Muska run and was tempted to buy one. Had to hold myself back though, I've already bought 4 decks this month. I really can't justify another deck purchase.

4 decks? What is this? Amateur hour?

But for real, good self-control. I've been eyeing a Foundation Ronnie Creager re-issue for a few weeks, I know if I commit to that purchase I'll end up adding 3x the initial amount to cart.

Haha that was the other thing, I already had a ton of gear in my hands I thought to myself "you don't need this fucking deck" and put it back in the rack. The itch will come back for sure and I'll be kicking myself later for not buying it no doubt.

My logic side was like, I don’t need this. I don’t even skate 7.75.

But ya know... it’s a classic, and if they would have had the other sizes I would have got them as well. I should consider myself lucky

Decided on slightly smaller wheels than what I posted the other day. But here she is together.

Hockey 8.3
ACE 44 with riptide pivots
Bones Swiss
Spitfire X FTC (supposed to be conical fulls, but when I held the next to each other the conical full was a mm or 2 skinnier)
Diamond Carroll 7/8 hardware
MOB

Beautiful. Skating an 8.5 hockey w/ 52mm conical fulls and 44s. I am oscillating between venture and aces but always end back up on the latter.

Yo, you mind getting out of my head? We just had 11/11 which is Asia's equivalent of Black Friday / Cyber Monday, have loads of gear coming in from there too. Coupled with Black Friday / Cyber Monday, my homies and I are going to be set for a while.

I really like this tiny graphic on it.
Cyrus bennet 917 8.18 wb 14.19
Black magic grip
Venture 5.2 low supercush bushings
51mm big heads
Race reds switching back to swiss six soon
Bronze hardware

Steep ass nose and tail. Coming from strictly DOA flat 7.5s and 7.75s it took me awhile to get used to the kicks and wideness of the deck and i lost my nollie flips apparently.

It's hard to find good 7.5 or 7.75 and most brands make those sizes as an afterthought (ugly big logo graphics, price points, mini lenght 28" )  i wanted to see if i could get used to a more available size again just in case i cant find cool smaller boards

Maybe you could try a 8" next time, most brands make them and I always seem to see some nice ones available. Also, Venture 5.0 sound kinda small on a 8.18, which is basically a 8.25 in size, or at least much closer than it is to 8".

Also, 917 boards are kinda like FA and Hockey from what I've experienced (had a 8.5 917 and it felt the same as a 8.5 FA) so maybe the steep kicks and extremely squared nose and tail might've thrown you off too. Squared boards feel wider than they are, for example a 8.5 FA almost feels like a 8.75 of a more tapered shape, so that 8.18 could have the feel of a 8.25-8.38. As for the steep kicks, I needed to adjust my nollie tricks quite a bit the first time I rode a really steep board, and if the 8.18 are anything like the 8.5, the nose is steep AF compared to other board companies.

I just realised that this is a pretty long message, so I'll stop now before I write a novel.

Im riding 5.2s on these

Yeah just the little dude holding the 8ball looked cool to me. Not even a 917 fan.

Might go for a ps stix since they have mellower kicks jut that the last 3 ps stix warped. 2 brand new came in warped and one got warped after being set up.

How are the 159 hangers on Ace baseplates? Would you say it kinda makes a 8.75" Ace? I have some 159s for whenever I ride anything bigger than 8.5 but I like my aces too much so I never really go there.

They feel just like an ace, I tried putting on 144 hangers first but it felt way to high and tippy, 149 hangers might be pretty sweet too.

This is pretty not true.  I had an 8.25 917 and went to an 8.25 FA- the 917 was BBS/Generator, not sure what the FA is. the 917 had a very similar shape to the Anti Hero 8.28 but felt flatter. The FA is the normal square shape, but doesn't have the PS markings so I think it is BBS/Generator but slightly mellower than normal, however, it's much steeper than the 917. Enjoying it with 5.6's.

They feel just like an ace, I tried putting on 144 hangers first but it felt way to high and tippy, 149 hangers might be pretty sweet too.

I have 149 tis and some aces should show up today. If my aces shit the bed. I’m gonna try this so I can bring the wheelbase in from the forged plates

Uma Landsled (what the hell kind name is that for a skateboard?)
8.9 x 14.5" wb, front wheel wells.
Ace 55, stock bushings, 1/8" risers
Spitfire 56mm 97a F4s, Bones Big balls,

I kind of feel like it is a nod to Logan Earth Ski (even if it Scram is already doing that and Uma is biting it a bit).

That board looks way crazier than I expected from the top. I talked some trash on Uma when they were announced but I am warming up to it.

Woah that's a neat setup, Does it have a particular purpose or general use?

skateboarding....

general winter spot set up, curbs, slippery indoor halfpipe, crusty outdoor spots. its got a massive nose so maybe some no ollie nose slides (i'm really into this tasteless trick on as high of a ledge i can get onto without ollieing.) not jersey barriers.

Hell Yeah, I'm a square and stick to 8.25/8.5 standard shapes but that looks really fun. I need to get a set of those 97 spitfires for this winter.
