Just set this up.
8.75x31.5x14.25
Egg shape with very small nose and tail.
Roman Numeral III
super mellow concave and kicks

149Ti
52mm 99a F4 Classics
Reds
Indy 7/8"
Jessup

Spent the day drinking beer out of my mailbox, then carving down the hill and smashing into the neighbors curb wedge.  Most relaxed I've been in as long as I can remember...

That’s a beautiful setup. Looks so fun. Grimplestix has the best graphics

Thanks, I agree on the graphics.  I was at Eastern Boarder a few weeks ago and this little girl picked out the Evan Smith one for a Christmas complete.  She was fuckin stoked on the graphic too!

I'm about to setup the same deck, but with Thunder 149s and conical fulls. The sticker on mine listed the WB as 14.74 but that clearly wasn't accurate.

Hockey Krod 8.5
Venture 5.8 w/ indy super softs and extra washer on the outside
F4 Conical full 56mm but worn down

First time with the venture/hockey combo and I'm in to it

This is the type of setup I want to try.

Any top marking that indicated the major US woodshop like Watson or PS Stix? If not it's probably to leftover COVID decks (made in China) from mid 2020.

Sorry to hear that, could be the leftover crap from 2020. My friend who rode a Toy Machine in 2020 said it felt waterlogged on day 1.

Got a pic of the Made in China sticker? I know the Zero ones just have a rectangular ones on the clear plastic wrap that says Made in China, complete with the DSM Resin-7 top markings.

They are definitely the "other" woodshop in China, not Dwindle, the one with the green single presses and Toy graphics in the video, which also has a very "look at us, aren't we amazing" vibe to the whole thing.  I wont post it here, but can send it to you if you want to see it.  Pretty funny actually to watch the video, but pretty sad for anyone thinking they were getting one thing but receiving another, as per standing on the boards and putting them right back on the rack and making a mental note to never look at them again, in a large chain shop in AU.  I am sure someone likes them, but they are not for me, or you it would seem.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

We sometimes get the china made toy boards at my local- they are "the other woodshop in china- not DSM" too and are straight up aweful!

Once years back i broke a board and the only one left in my size at the shop was one of them china made toy machine boards. Set it up, skated for 1 hour and just went home cause "if that is the fun i can have, i do not want to have it"! Just set up another super beat up board instead wich still felt way better than the toy machine.....

This I would say is quality right there, but the DLX Full SE boards are good shapes and one I would be happy to ride if I had to choose one to stick with for the rest of my days.

Gone since 1988.  I talk too much about skateboards.  Sorry.

Grimple 8.75 Egg
149 Thunder Team Hollows
52 Conical Fulls not stoked on
Old Swiss
7/8 Allen Thunder hardware

Carpet 8.125
148 Thunder Team Hollow plates, ti hangers
52 F4 Classics
Bones Swiss Big Balls
7/8 Allen Thunder hardware

Really need to figure out what brands make this exact Carpet shape cuz it and the 8.25 are awesome. I’ve got another 8.25 on deck but getting their decks is a pain.

The Grimple is surprisingly nimble although I’m not used to how to scoop the tail yet. Want to change out the wheels. Going to put the Quantum bearings on one of these probably the Carpet.
