Grimple 8.75 Egg
149 Thunder Team Hollows
52 Conical Fulls not stoked on
Old Swiss
7/8 Allen Thunder hardware

Carpet 8.125
148 Thunder Team Hollow plates, ti hangers
52 F4 Classics
Bones Swiss Big Balls
7/8 Allen Thunder hardware

Really need to figure out what brands make this exact Carpet shape cuz it and the 8.25 are awesome. I’ve got another 8.25 on deck but getting their decks is a pain.

The Grimple is surprisingly nimble although I’m not used to how to scoop the tail yet. Want to change out the wheels. Going to put the Quantum bearings on one of these probably the Carpet.

Both setups look real decent. I’ve been missing thunders.
What do you not like about the wheels? 52 in the fulls I like, 54 and up too much for this weakling.

I think I’m just very used to everything about classics since that’s mostly all I’ve ever skated. I like the way they lock into crooks variations. I never have noseslide issues with Thunders and tons of baseplate wear to prove it, but these feel horrible for em.

nice! Good to rep solstice. Like that deck a lot. Tail shape more pointy than I thought or maybe it’s the angle.

Just the angle bud, it's the same as my other one minus the large chip on the nose.
Love supporting Solstice too!

@SUPREMENECKPROTECTOR that's a lovely looking setup. and that's the first 917 graphic I've ever really been impressed by. What Adidas are those? They look super fresh. What do the 97a F4s feel like on street?

The shoes are 3st.003. The wheels are pretty cool because they offer a lot of control while still being slideable. Haven´t ridden a classic wheel shape in a minute. So far i like everything about this setup and think about getting another slick.

can’t find this size anymore around me so I’m hoping it drops again w a new graphic this spring.
The length is measured tape down yea? So more like 32.1-32.2” or so?
How are you liking it with ace 55?
i haven’t measured with the tape yet, but it definitely feels shorter than 32.6. i’m really liking it with ace 55, they’re my favourite trucks atm, and the slightly wider axle than deck adds a good amount of stability for me, especially on hills n shit. i’m not a big board flipper, but the kicks definitely feel nice. when i first got on it i kinda thought it was an 8.5 because of the length. i hope they bring the shape back too. i’ll measure the length for you when i get home. tape straight across, not pushed down, right?

Hockey K-Rod 8.5 x 31.91” (14.25” wheelbase)
Ace 55s stock
OJ keyframes 87a 54s
Bronson raws
Mob grip
Random Bones hardware

Working my way back down from 8.75s.  Did one ollie in my basement after I set it up and the pop felt incredible with the 14.25 wheelbase and Aces.  Going to inevitably switch the wheels out for some 52mm spitfire 99a’s when the novelty wears off after like 15 mins of skating tomorrow...

* Anti Hero 8.18 x 31.875 / 14.38 wb
* Indy Hollow Forged 139 / two washers inside, back truck top bottom Indy Blue (94d ?), both kingpins cut down with a angle grinder and shaved down top bushings
* Radial Slims 53mm / now ~ 50mm (they are lovely)
* Modus Blue Bearings
* Jessup Ultra Grip
* Indy Bolts
* Killer Croc Sticker

I had a few sleepless nights because of that wheelbase, but so far it's not much of a difference to me.

Every now and again they have “ramp” stickers. You’d have to ask for them when placing a shop order through DLX. I still have 1.5 left after this
