Hockey Nik Stain 8.25” (the real skategoat)
Ace 44 Classics with Riptides
Spitfire F4 OG Classics 52 mm
Bearings
Hardware
Mob and a little clear Jessup
Last Resort ABs

On my third pair of Last Resorts - I think they’re great skate shoes

Ordered some regular Spitfire conicals to add to the set up but got impatient. Been skating mostly conical fulls for the last year - looking for something similar but a little lighter feeling.  Don’t see many non-full conicals out in the wild.

Perfect. I was thinking of trying that board in the 8.44 shape, but seeing the top view reminds me of how well the classic Hockey shape skates (love it with Aces, too).

Job is shipping me around scandinavia for the next few weeks. Had to fly out through Frankfurt, which is like one of two airports that won't let you carry a skateboard around, so I decided to wait until I got here and set up a monster.

Yeah I’ve been fully back skating for almost a year now and my compulsive buying has led me to many sizes and shapes of decks.  I really think 8.25” is the overall ideal width for me at this point and the Hockey/FA 8.25” shape is so good.  If I was smart I’d stock up on those and stop switching it up.  Must admit I was intrigued by the 8.44” shape though but I don’t wanna go up in size again right now.

I feel bad, I really wanted to throw some Ventures on there but I just couldn’t. Ace classics have kind of ruined other trucks for me for the time being.

That looks like an extremely fun board to grind curbs and ledges with.

Still on these Crail G052's. Switched a bit up recently. Went from F4 97s back to 99's, been skating a newly built park and the 97s felt slow to me. Also picked up the new Miles Silvas Omni Thunders, very amped on them. They are a slightly higher Team Hollow. I always liked the feel of Thunders but they were too low for me. These are great, no wheelbite.

Specs:
Girl Sean Malto 93Til (G052 China)
Thunder Miles Silvas Omni Team Hollow
Spitfire F4 99a 52mm Classics
Bones Swiss Six
Almost Gold bolts 1" Allen
Jessup as always.

The go52 is my favorite crail shape for sure. I love the sea foam blue with the brown bottom ply showing. Looks so good.

Its great! I've skated 8.5 trucks forever. But actually retired the trucks yesterday after I realised the axles were really bent. Put some 5.6s (two washers on the inside) to see what its like and I think I may stick with it for a bit. I put more detailed thoughts in the magic carpet thread, but tldr: slightly better leverage for flip tricks, less wheel jamming on nose/tailslides, sharper turn at the expense of less stability, more wheelbite, and a little less grind room.

I may have to try the 5.6s after my current are done. Which will be pretty soon. I am also sizing back down to 8.25 tho because I have 4 decks that are that size waiting to be set up. I'm thinking the size down will help with flip tricks and I won't tire out as fast.

Yeah it makes a lot of sense on 8.25. I skated 8.5 trucks for years, skated a few 8.25s last year and kept the 8.5 trucks for the most part. Never had a problem with it but now I'm kinda seeing why people like having slightly smaller trucks than the board. Depends on what your priorities are really there's definitely pros and cons

Frog Jesse Alba 8.75
Venture v lights 5.8
Oj nomads 95a
Bones big balls bearings
Halfcab pros

Having a lot of fun on this deck great pop flip tricks, not the best for nose and tail stalls on the mini ramp, would definitely buy a similar football shape like this again

smallest board ive ridden to date since my first ever
krooked 8.6 14.7 wb
ace af1 66, 'bout normal tightness
spitfire conical full 97a down to 51mm ish
mob

haven't ridden the deck yet, but i gotta say the f4s and af1s are really good! i didnt like the 97a at first but now its grown on me, and i might have to get them again when its new wheel time. the af1s are really nice too, idk how theyre gonna feel on the smaller board so i might have to t*ghten them a little bit and loosen em off again as i get used to it

If you want a soft wheel that you can still power slide on this aint it besides that lots of fun, great for really rough ground which is everywhere around here, bombing hills on them is scary tho

53/101 Classics
Ceramics

Bunch of loose parts that fit well together instead of on other setups. This ones on the steep side. Pink top is cool, not had one in a while.

Uma "Thumb shape" 9" with 14 3/8 WB
AF1 55s
54mm 99a F4s
Swiss 6
Mix of regular Jessup and the weird Nike/ Jessup recycled rubber grip.

A little magic carpet but not too bad. Might end up putting some 151s or 6.1s on it...

i've been trying to consolidate all of my skate junk, so I frankensteined this together with stuff I had lying around.

CK egg shape I've had probably since he first went to jail.  9.something
Venture Hi 5.8s i had on a crusier I never rode
50 mm Chocolate wheels I got on clearance.  They feel real plasticky, almost like toy store wheels
random bearings
