Damn. Tons of sick set ups today...
If you see offensive comments, just let it go into one eye and let it out of the other eye, no tears and not sadness or anger.

Pro leathers are dope.

What were you skating before the dlx 8.06? I’ve not had alltimers boards, even though I dig the company. Skated my friends 8.5 and it was the same old shit, land the trick on my friends board that I couldn’t land on my own board. Go home to gnash my teeth and pester all ya’ll.

Before I went down to 8.06 I was skating 8.25s either Krooked or Wknd boards mostly. Fell in love with the 8.06 full but since they don’t make that one any more ( tried the 8.06 full se… hated it) I hat to try something else. Snagged an Alltimers from an orchard sell and fell in love so I stocked up.

Bought some Thunders on sale which I haven't skated in a long time so I went ahead and threw a setup together.

Evisen 8.5
Thunder 149s
52mm Spitfire F4 Tablets
Bones Reds, and Jessup grip.
As a tablet fan, @Frank and Fred, those 55mm look good!

dope set up. i could defly ride this np. that Traffic sicker is so fire.

all these set ups are sick. that FA graphic is really good too. made me think about the collaged sleeve art from check your head/ill communications.

New Spring Thing. About 2 weeks into skating this board and really stoked on it.

Welcome Nora Vasconcellos 8.6 (I redrilled the wheelbase as an experiment but ended up just sticking with the stock one)
Ace AF1 66s (Kreper Kingpins, Bones soft top bushing, stock bottom)
58mm 84b Bones SPF (V5 shape)
Bronson G3s
1/8 Inch Riser
this setup is absolutely beautiful, but to my strange brain the aces look almost too chunky for the board. how does the shape affect your skating on flat?

This looks like a fun setup. My most fun setup in recent memory was basically the same setup. Idk why I keep changing things up. FA deck with indys feels so good

Too lazy to post pics I’ll probably add it later.

8.38” PACCBET Val Bauer (biggest board I ever bought)

Thunders (first time trying trucks that are not Indy)

56mm spitfire formula four classics (biggest wheels I’ve ever bought)

Sushi bearings (these look like they’re gonna suck a lot especially cos I was used to bones Swiss)

Will skate it soon and report back.

Kind of a big boy set up but if I can tre and sw tre on this set up it’s gonna be sexy I believe.

Edit: fwiw cons Purcell low / cons ctas pro on rotation.

Edit 2: this is it I already miss my Swiss  :(

Scumco Evan Smith guest model 8.25" x 31.5" 14.2wb
Ace 03 low 8" axle
52mm Bones stf 103a V2 (locks) shape
Zealous bearings because its always wet
Some fancy French grip called J'essup

Weather might have finally broken. Back might finally be unbroken. This is meant to be slow and hit the ground quick. I've written novels about how much I love this shape but I haven't skated one since the fall so I'm interested to see if it's going to feel like an old pair of jeans or if the mellow nose is going to be weird.

Also thinking about putting a bones medium top on the bottom of these trucks, I went to cone bottoms in my venture lows over winter and it made me feel like I gained a little bit of turn without really sacrificing stability. These turn better than venture lows so I'm not sure if I'll need it though. Any of you dudes who put flat washers on everything think that would make a difference with lows?

I am running some low top bushings with flat washers on my rain/cruiser board and I feel they surf and turn a bit more fluid. But it can be a bit sketchy going down a hill fast. In the rain. But you will feel very alive and happy if you don't slam and cruise the speed out.

do you know if and when are the black/teal adimatics coming out? i've only seen the black/white and green/white colorways on the internet as of now. if they aren't going to release the black/teal i might just cop the blacks but that was my favorite colorway.

It’s some of my friends set-ups that were at the sesh…
The adimatic is weird at first but yesterday they were doing good, guess I’m getting used to the puff! The flick was a bit off in the first sesh and it’s not the most breathable shoe, but actually they have a decent amount of boardfeel, the upper is a bit bulky but feels snug and comfy and they seem to be really durable! I’m gonna keep skating them a bit more, but so far I’m enjoying them!

I’m actually not sure dude! They were supposed to be part of the 2nd drop of the first collection, the teal and the orange one. But I think with the delays from production they might have been pushed far back on the release date. I heard they didn’t have a lot of them made too because they had to prioritise some other projects… so yeah, can’t say exactly when they release  :-\

Friend gave me this deck because he didn't like the shape. I finally found time to set it up today, which coincidentally is the 2nd anniversary of Grosso's passing.

Black Label Jeff Grosso "Forever" 10.25" x 31.25" with 15" wheelbase
Indy 159 standards
Spitfire F4 99a 56mm Conical Fulls
Bones Ceramic Super Reds
Dogtown Blue Haven Rails
1" hardware
I think a mix of MOB and MOB clear?

Once I'm done skating this board, the deck is going back into a small quiver collection at my local shop so other people can skate it. I personally refuse to wall hang it.
