Krooked 8.38x32.25x14.5
Thunder hollow light 149
Free worn down Spitfire radials 53 to 51/50

First set of Thunders and lowest lightest board I’ve had after all Indy’s on 56 for ever

Looks dope, nice graphic and setup.

I love this shape on thunders. Thought the WB would be too long but I had a blast on the last 8.38 eagle I setup. Nice one!

First session on this was fun. Didn’t get too long because it rained but still fun shape. Mostly did slappies and 50-50s but I think I’ll enjoy this. Hoping to learn some more flat ground on it.

Edit: totally forgot to add what everything is

Chocolate 8.5 x 31.95 14.5 wb G057 Carl Aikens pro debut (and shape)
Venture 5.8 standard cast Lucien Clarke doom logo
F4 52 mm classics
Cheap shots bearings I think? I always cheap out on bearings

Well its in parts but here ya go. Will set it up tonight.
Magenta Plant 8.8
Ace AF1 66 blue/orange base plate
Ace Hard Bushings - I am a bigger guy and I wanna run a little bit tighter on this setup.
Dialtone 53mm wide conicals (Del Negro wheel)
Hopps 1" hardware (I have some magenta 7/8 coming in a separate order but not sure I can wait)
Dialtone bearings
Pepper grip! firsttimer here.

I wanted a slightly smaller (I usually ride the 9" CODA shape) and slower bearings (weird yes) and wider wheel setup for skating my mini and street.

ok thanks

It's the same price as other griptapes and feels like a mayyyybe slightly grittier Jessup that has perforations so it's marginally easier to apply and it seems to not trap dust as easily maybe. So, its griptape and a no risk thing to try.

Perforations had me worried when I got some. I hate MOB grip.

This is like jessup but I think better.

I'll never understand the mob grip hate.  ???

Between Pepper and Miles coming into the mix, it seems like these two have the potential to be the next generation's Mob and Jessup. Based on team, image, and tech rolled into their products.

hates a strong word, personally I just find that mobs a shoe killer, granted Jessup doesn't last as long but I go through boards quite regularly say every 1-2months depending on what/where I'm skating (I like that fresh pop) so that doesn't come into play for me. I just don't want to have to fork out for a board and a new pair of shoes every time if that makes sense. this shits getting pricey.

Which leads to the question: What‘s the difference between Miles and Pepper? I am a former Mob guy but now I have Miles and love it.

I definitely can understand personal preference on grip, what I cannot for the life of me understand is giving a shit what someone else is skating.
ok thanks

I find Mob annoying to apply and just don’t need that much grip. I would rather ride it over Grizzly which is too slick out of the box. Anything is better than grip with graphics on it.

MOB's been super disappointing lately because for me the adhesive seems much worse than before. Jessup Ultra has been my go to now. As grippy as MOB, but with much better adhesive.

I only like Mob on my rain setup. But I also sand down regular Jessup grip. And yes, my shoes last a good while.

Jessup Ultra really is the top-tier griptape IMO. I grabbed a bunch of extra sheets from the Skate Warehouse Christmas sale, but now that I'm getting back some of my flippy tricks, I find that it's maybe even a little too grippy.

This is my quandary with the mob and the vulcs, I like the Ollie’s, I don’t like the half flips where the shoe stays stuck to the griptape. I’m sure it’s a technique/me issue, wondering if the gains are worth the time to adjust

I pretty much always skate jessup because I like that it isn't super grippy like mob. I find it better for flip tricks. But I just bought an Uma board directly from their site, and it came with a free sheet of Pepper so I guess I'll be trying it out. I think the last time I had grip that wasn't jessup was Black magic way back in the day.

This is one reason I could never get down with vulcs and Vans soles in particular. The board feel is great, but they're too grippy and could never adjust to them for anything other than ollies. Then as old age set in, vulcs were just not happening due to their lack of cushioning and support.

I'm a fan of pepper now, better grip than jessup but not has chunky as mob + air bubble perforations.

A lill note on pepper grip for EU pals, it should be available here soon too.  It's available on 24/7 distribution now so it should find its way into shops , at least in Germany, pretty soon.
