Trucks blowing my mind. Are they loose?

They're fairly loose. They don't really wheelbite either, I've been riding them like this for a year and I love them.  :)

what's the deal with Ti nuts & bolts?

So you don’t have to dig: This link has owned a permanent browser tab on my phone since it was first posted and will continue to reside there until I pull the trigger. I get closer every time I see these trucks.

passed all of my summer classes, so I set up a new complete with stuff I had laying around

8.25 Real Busenitz
54mm OJ Noras
Ace af1 44s
quantum bearings

the all black Ace's looked weird to me, so I tried to strip the paint with some cirtistrip, which did nothing.  Ended up (shittily) dremeling the hangers to raw metal, and managed to get them polished to a semi-presentable state.  Back on Ace after about a year on Ventures, and Im not really comfortable yet.

I've always thought it would be funny to put together a skateboard with Secure Torx bolts, but ultimately the only person who it would annoy would be me.

I would buy an Alien Workshop board again if they looked like this. Well done. Great color palette. Did you use stickers and stencils to do the graphic?

Thanks! Yeah I used masking tape and those little red dot stickers you can buy at office supply stores. Stoked with the way the gold picks up on the wood grain in the green - looks great in the light. Hit the blank with a thin coat of clear before doing the gold which gives it a layered iridescent finish.

lots of green stains on this page, i'll add mine:
Primitive Villani egg, DBZ graphic removed with combo of acetone and sandpaper methods, then hit with a quick spray gloss
Venture 6.1 with the "loose trucks" bushing kit (haven't ridden a set of Ventures since probably '96)
Spitfire F4 99a 51mm
off-brand ceramics from Amazon that have actually been pretty great
Shorty's lights 7/8 allen
Pepper grip

Had a chance to skate it for like 20 mins before work today.  The turn on the Lo’s isn’t as bad as I remember.

Oh how I agree.
It’s not some ace ‘surfy’ stuff, but it does not inhibit me: I skate flatground.
Skating lo’s with 52s is some real g shit. I gotta tighten it up to do that, and again, that’s not a bad thing.
Yea yea I’ll take my tight trucks opinions to the trucks/venture 2020 thread

Have the SKF Bearings in diff setups.
It is Euro made in italy, not like the US brands, most made in middle east!
They have closed cages so the dirt stays where it belongs, outside. And i dont want to clean up my bearings every two months. Thats it:)

More than 100 years exp. in industr. bearings. Makes sense for me, mainly the price-performance ratio...
Maybe you should give them a try ;)

Was looking at picking up a deck for a new set-up and came across this awesome one:

Can anyone tell me the artistic significance behind this graphic? I don't get it. I'm trying to wrap my head around it. It's entitled, "Lurk". A woman spying through some cloud printed thing. She has some bling, red nails. What does it all mean?

Haha thanks. It did take more time to setup but wasn't as bad as it looks. Would probably have been much easier if I used an xacto knife instead of box cutter blade
