Thats freakin cool! I keep thinking about making myself either a low box/manny pad (4-5 inch high) or a wood double sided “curb” since I cant find one. Just unsure how to keep it from tipping over.

Thats one thing with that block, it tends to skid around a bit if its not sat back against something. Board/lipslides are fine but anything else the fucker moves. Its never tipped though.
It also has two different angles which is a nice feature.
Im tempted to glue some very thin rubber pads to the ends to stop it sliding about.

I’ve got a Hockey John Fitzgerald coming, an 8.5 (31.9 long 14.25wb) which is the skinniest board & first popsicle I’ve ridden for a long while. With Hockeys steeper kicks what trucks would work best? I ride indys or aces usually. Looking at ace 44, maybe lows.

Lower truck would definitely help with ghost pop on those steep kicks. If you go Indy definitely do forged or mid. If you get Ace lows let us know what you think as I am curious about those myself.

Yeah,  i'm up in the air as to what truck I like more, Aces feel immediately more fun but harder to do tricks on, Indys are just super comfortable. The Mid Forged Hollow 149s could be the go. I havent bought non 66/169 sized trucks in yeaaaaars.

Antihero Eagle 8.75 x 31.75 x 14.25 wb (IV press so the concave is a bit more mellow)
Indy 159s with 1/16 soft risers
Spitfire F4 99D Conical 56mm
Bones Swiss

Really digging this setup, it looks like an inconspicuous shop deck 8).

My buddy rides it on forged Indy's and likes, it's mellower and less square than most FA/Hockey shapes.

Polar 8.75
Ace AF1 66 Hollows
Ace 1/8” risers
F4 OG Classics 55mm
Quantum Fusion bearings
Pepper grip.

I’m digging the 66’s on an 8.75.

Shout out to Quantum. These things are fast.

Even after killing my last deck with a long, misty, and wet session where I didn’t bother to avoid puddles, the bearings stayed fast and smooth.

It’s possible that they feel even better now after some heavy usage, a cleaning, and a couple drops of their lube.

Beautiful @Deepspace9mm

I picked up some 66 hollows the other day and I have to admit they did feel light.

Jumping on the Real wooden riser train, they're dope. I love that they don't dampen vibrations from the wheels like rubber ones do

I keep an Eagle at my mom’s house for when I visit, but unfortunately I won’t be there until December so I cannot contribute to this page.
