Reset the set up.

Traffic Orchard
Ventures cast 5.6
Found these mixed baseplates a few years ago. Kept um on ice now I'm stoked AF. I have like 4 extra sets of plates lol.

I'm on some old 101a 55mm classics. They are about 51s maybe 52s.

I definitely miss being on the 8.75 with the 5.8 and the 58mm ogs.

It's all good.

Probably like July or August I'll step up to 6.1s. the 5.8 was so good. Probably the  best truck ive ever had in my life.

I fully believe the 6.1 is going to be even better.

I tried switching to the indys but I just couldn't do it rn. The same for the slappy. The slappy trucks are on my cruiser rn. That shit is scary fast.

Maybe I'll post later. Has some rare ass shit on it.

9" Anti-Hero orange eagle with kook-ish scratches
66 Ace AF1 Hollow with hard bushings
Indy risers
56mm Spitfire f4 Conical full
Mosaic Madars Apse bearings
Mob

8.75" BBS blank (Anti-Hero white eagle)
Ace AF1 55 stock
Indy risers
55mm OJ super juice mini
Mini logo bearings
Mob

Blazer GT's

Old guy getting back into it. I'm 6'5" 210 with size 14's. Basically Brian Anderson except completely unskilled.

Love the ace's with the hard bushings. Tried Indy's too, also liked them. Would be happy on either. Ace nuts are dogshit.

Full madness I've tried Dragons, X97's, and the F4's. Probably like the Dragons least, X97's are almost as good on crust, but don't feel as rubbery and slow in the park. F4's just feel perfect, they feel and sound like I think skateboard wheels should. Yeah, both Bones are better on crust but... I dunno, still like the spits better.

Other setup I put together for my wife, but I ride it way more. The super juices are a fucking riot and everyone should try them, they just mob through everything. So fun. No slide and heavy, but for mobbing around the neighborhood they're amazing.

I had initially setup my zero with black spit conicals! I'm switching off the zero, damn thing just feels soggy/dead =( really weird seeing as it's BBS.

It is an excellent set up. If I wasn't angling for some 6.1s I'd definitely cop some 5.2s

I hated my 5.8 hi’s for a period but they’re like the most comfy, predictable trucks I’ve ever skated now that I changed the bushings and took some time with them. I haven’t bought any trucks for the 9.25 shaped deck I have coming and you just reminded me it’s because I want 6.1s on it.
that would be crazy if your skin was made of hammers.

Haha that would have been sick, was gonna run some natural conical fulls but the black wheels just had to go on.
Shame it was feeling soggy, that must have got in my head a lil bit cause I'm questioning my own setup now  ;D

Paccbet 8.5 14.5wb for the short kings out there
Ace af1 55(bushings blew out super quick on them)
Dlxsf 1/8” wooden risers
F4 og classics 99du 54mm
Bronson g2 bearings

I'm short / average height and I've always preferred short wheelbases, I thought taller you were = more likely to prefer longer wheelbase and vice versa

shop board i designed, 8.375 x 31.875 x 14.25
venture standard 5.8 with 90a supercush and flat top washer
spitfire f4 radial 56 99, worn down to 52ish
skf bearings
jessup
pig bolts
skate half cabs, but i cut out the tongue straps so that the tongue goes over my pant cuffs

the manufacturer fucked up and they didn’t put the hole in the letter „D” so i cut a white sticker and put it there, it’s not identical to the original graphic i made but it works, kinda.

the shop is called „śledź” which means „herring” but i didn’t put the accents on there because it didn’t fit the graphic, the wheelbite marks could work as the accents lol

Nothing too wild about it, just duel stock AF1 tops. I'm waiting for a homie that works at Mesa to send me a set of Ace Classic top bushings to run as bottoms without the washers. The Classic bushings have a slightly different shape to them and are a little stiffer since they compress less so I figured I'd give the full Ronbo bushing setup a go hahaha

Thanks!

That shits beautiful. Gonz and roses in sliver is sick

I'm digging this one, but I haven't seen a graphic on this shape that I've been on the fence about. The only one I would hesitate to skate was the ltd. moon smile one, but that's only because I have an aversion to skating dipped boards.
Small man, big board...

I like thunders in general. I usually recommend a riser with any wheels over 54mm (but I like loose trucks and really high setups for ramps / cruisers so I fuck with risers)

Been a minute since I posted in here.

Polar surf jr shape
Indy titanium 149s
Pig 97a Conicals
Indy black bearings
Jessup

Normally I don't do anything over 8.37 but I wanted to show Radio some love and this seemed interesting. Typically shaped decks aren't in my preferred wb range and are generally just too much board for me so I half expected to hate this setup but the fact this thing is so short and really only wide in one spot makes it really easy to skate. I couldn't figure out what trucks to put on at first because it's like 8.12 at the back truck and 8.6 at the front, but 149s seem to fit pretty nicely. I bet ace 44 classics would work really well too.

This is the second time I've bought a shaped deck on a whim and ended up absolutely loving it. The fact it's so short makes it handle like a skinny deck and I can do all my flip tricks. I was shocked that such a square tail is actually really easy to scoop ..I think my 3 flips are more consistent than with a regular tail somehow. It also feels really easy to wrap, but I don't know if that's because of the tail or length.

I've barely even done a slappy because it's so fun to just cruise and pop little ollies or slide your tail out around corners. I have a doomsayers popsicle that's the same mold and similarly short and love that thing too, but this one skates even better. Fav deck I've skated in a while.
