Got this yesterday, feels massive but fun to ride though
April 9.5
Ace CLassic 55
Bones Reds
Spitfire F4 Classics 55
Jessup
[close]

That shape looks so great, seems like a fun boat.
Are there any decks shaped like this, but just less wide, for 8.25" trucks?
[close]

That nose looks fucking delicious! An actual shaped board that looks really ridable.

What's the width over the rear trucks?

Such a big contrast to most 'shaped' noses (and for the better), I hate narrow noses like this:

It's like 8.9 over the back trucks. Pretty close to a Dane but with a 1991 nose. That shape looks like a real winner.

Kinda wish I had gotten the full size one, the lack of any nose really hampers the trick abilities, but it's still fun.

I was thinking about picking up some of the 60mm classics - how do you like them?

@slaab900turbo so far so good. I was worried the nose was going to be too long but so far it’s been a fun curb crusher. Super long and stable. Couldn’t tell you where supreme does their boards but I think it’s the same as deluxe wood?

I've only had one session on them in a really dusty indoor, but they seem promising. They're not as icy as F4s, so I felt pretty secure on them, and they're a little lighter than their nearest neighbor, the 60mm conical full. No remarks on flat spotting though, every powerslide was basically dry lubed with dust in this place.

Look at those ugly yellow wheels. Barf.

I have some fresh new Bones x99 on the way. The old yellow x97’s are just too offensive.

(And not quite sure how I feel about the black bushings and black baseplate. And Yes, that’s titanium hangar, lol)

Thanks y’all. It’s been fun.

yeah that works for sure

never really thought about yellow wheels w/ white board
but my last white dip setup started with white wheels

ended up going back to yellow ass formula 4s 99a
they felt so right that the color didnt matter
and fwiw the ply under the paint wasnt dyed a color

ride what feels right if you can get over color coordination
the board wont look mint after a few sessions
while cool-guying is a real phenomenon, studies show that 83% of all cool-guying incidents can be attributed to the cool-guyee being an awkward weirdo

Scumco 8.5 shaped logo 8.5 x 31.5 14wb (PS stix)
149 Indy tits
Loophole 56 v cuts
Bones Swiss ceramics
Bill Pepper grip

Nerds: it's 8.5 at widest point (below the nose bolts) but just over 8 at the tail bolts and 8.25 over the nose bolts so combined with the compact length and wb it handles like an 8.25. I can't 100% identify it as a stock shape or something someone else uses but it does remind me an awful lot of Rowley's freedome "bulldog" shape. Really liked the first run on it, it looks and kinda feels like a cruiser until you try a flip trick and catch that big ass nose. I would call the kicks medium, it's probably the PS101 mold but I didnt have anything handy to mold match it with.

Absolutely obsessed with the look of this set up, really looking forward to going for a skate!

Polar Dane Brady 8.125 (how is it that sizing down from 8.25 feels like such a huge difference just standing on it?!)
Venture v-lights low 5.2
Spitfire f4 51mm
Spitfire bearings
Very nice.
